  • Publication number: 20050258180
Abstract: A large mouth, integrally molded, one-piece container has a generally rectangular bottom wall and front and side walls extending upwardly and outwardly from the bottom to a rim with front and back sections joined to flat side handle sections. The upper central portions of the side walls deviate inwardly from the lower portions to form an undercut region under the handle sections to accommodate a user's fingers. A lid with a downwardly extending skirt overlying the container skirt in the closed position is hinged to the container back wall adjacent the rim. A latching tongue is integrally molded with the front skirt wall and includes a central section spaced outwardly from the skirt with a cooperating hook member formed on the lower end thereof.

  • Publication number: 20050155889
Abstract: A system of open top trays of variable heights arranged to be stacked in any arrangement and with the trays in a stacked position defining a common interface datum plane between adjacent trays and releasably locked together. Each tray includes a bottom, longitudinal and transverse perimeter walls, with the perimeter walls being inclined outwardly and terminating in an upper rim, with the perimeter of each tray having the same dimensions regardless of its height. A latch handle is rotatably mounted on each transverse wall at a distance d1 below the datum plane. A latch hook protrudes outwardly from each transverse wall at a distance d2 above the datum plane with the latch handle having a locking tab for engaging an associated latch hook of an above positioned tray to releasably lock the trays together.

  • Publication number: 20050045577
Abstract: A container cap assembly comprises a one-piece integrally molded annular cap body hinged to a one-piece integrally molded lid. The cap body has a lower section with internal female threads for cooperation with matching male threads on a container and an annular upwardly extending flange. The lid has a downwardly extending flange. The flanges have interlocking sealing surfaces which extend outwardly at an acute angle to the vertical so that the lid flange will snap over the cap body flange in the closing mode and retain the lid in a closed and sealed position relative to the cap body until the lid is forced upwardly.
