  • Patent number: 12468066
Abstract: Systems and methods for predicting increase in average sea surface temperature (SST) are disclosed. The method includes setting a value of a first Boolean flag when at least one of an eclipse season start date and an eclipse season end date in a particular calendar year occurs in a period of thirty days preceding a timestamp for a particular partition in a plurality of partitions segmenting the particular calendar year. The method includes inputting to a trained machine learning model the first Boolean flag. The trained machine learning model is trained using a plurality of time series data using lunar orbit characteristics. The method includes predicting, using the trained machine learning model, a probability of increase in the average SST for a predefined time interval in the particular calendar year. The method includes invoking a weather forecasting system to generate weather forecast in dependence on the predicted probability.

  • Publication number: 20070104847
Abstract: A method is provided for obtaining ?-casein from skim milk. Purification of ?-casein from milk is achieved through a process of microfiltration using cross-flow polymeric microfiltration membranes. Cooling of the milk prior to microfiltration results in improved separation of ?-casein from the other milk serum proteins. Further filtration and demineralization of the microfiltered permeate results in enrichment of the fraction containing soluble ?-casein. An integrated scheme that allows a dairy plant to continuously separate and purify ?-casein is provided. Also provided is a method for obtaining cheese with improved meltability and reduced bitterness.

  • Publication number: 20060096989
Abstract: A container having an external gutter located below a primary wiping surface or edge. Drips from the wiping surface to the exterior of the container accumulate in the gutter and drain back into the container through drain notches at the bottom of the gutter. A liner having the same basic configuration as the paint bucket can be used to cover all portions of the paint bucket thereby to minimize any need to clean the paint bucket. The liner can be disposable. A cover can seal the paint bucket with or without a liner.
