  • Patent number: 9996672
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for use in managing patient treatments utilizing pharmaceutical or therapeutic compounds. Methods include accessing one or more fields of information relating to any of a patient, physician and drug treatment and relating the one or more fields, or combination thereof, to a particular attribute or outcome. By analyzing the one or more fields of data in relation to the attribute or outcome, the system determines suitability of an intervention(s) and tasks the intervention(s) to one or more entities to facilitate the desired attribute or outcome. In certain aspects, the system facilitates identification of complex relationships and trends between seemingly unrelated fields of information and outputs information for use in an intervention or various other purposes according to the attribute or outcome desired by the user.

  • Publication number: 20180153465
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for assisting the user to wear an appropriate amount of clothing layers. A smart device (e.g., smartwatch) receives measurements of temperature and humidity sensed at various locations on a human body which are sources of sweat. In response to the measured temperature or humidity being above the first threshold (indication that the user will start to feel overheated) or below the second threshold (indication that the user will start to feel cold), the smart device generates a notification to the user to adjust the clothing layers (e.g., remove a clothing layer). Alternatively, the smart device may receive measurements of a pH level of the user's sweat. The smart device generates a notification to the user to stop exercising and to drink water in response to the received measurement being below a threshold (indication that the user is approaching dehydration).

  • Patent number: 9971994
Abstract: A method for using an undo stack to explore past actions and apply new actions to previous states in a data view. The method includes detecting a change in an application data view. The application then displays an undo stack and stores the data change in the application data view to the undo stack. Upon detecting a selection of the undo stack entry for undo, the application returns the application data view to the state represented by the undo stack entry. The method further includes providing a user interface allowing a user to perform operations on undo stack entries. Responsive to the user utilizing the user interface and making selections, the application then adjusts the application data view state based on the performed actions.

  • Publication number: 20180069497
Abstract: An apparatus for controlling a turbogenerator system when a power electronics circuit of the turbogenerator system is unable to provide a sufficient load on the turbogenerator to prevent the turbogenerator from accelerating uncontrollably is described. The apparatus comprises a monitor including a first sensing device operable to detect a condition of the turbogenerator, and a brake controller responsive to a turbogenerator detection output from the first sensing device to issue a first brake control signal for operating a brake circuit to prevent the turbogenerator from accelerating uncontrollably and a second brake control signal for operating the brake circuit to permit resumption of normal operation of the turbogenerator.

  • Publication number: 20180053511
Abstract: Aspects define a capture signal as audio inputs by a user of word content. An input of the capture signal word content is recognized in response to an audio input of the user reciting the capture signal word content into a microphone in communication with the recording device during a recording of a speech presentation by the recording device. A recording portion start time is identified that is prior to a time of the input of the capture signal during the current recording of the audio speech presentation in response to recognizing the input of the capture signal word content from the user. The recording device is driven to capture a portion of the recorded audio speech presentation over a period of time spanning from the recording portion start time to the time of the input of the capture signal word content.

  • Publication number: 20180046425
Abstract: Embodiments are an approach to maintaining a shared application window environment based on mirroring the shared application windows of a secondary display to a buffer by a display proxy. When a disconnection of the secondary display is detected the display proxy creates a framed window and transfers the applications previously displayed on the secondary display to the framed window. The relative sizes and positions of the application windows are maintained and the window sharing users are unaware of the transfer from the secondary display to the framed window. If desired, the application windows can be transferred to a different secondary display.

  • Publication number: 20170371502
Abstract: A first input of a user is received in a first window. The first window is active. An indication that a second window is active and the first window is inactive is received. In response to receiving the indication that the second window is active, the first input of the user is directed to the second window from a time that the second window became active. The gaze of the user is determined. In response to determining that the gaze of the user is on the second window, the first input of the user is accepted in the second window from a time the gaze of the user is on the second window.
