    Abstract: A novel polymer composition comprising the reaction product of:(a) between about 75 and about 99.9 weight percent of a monocarboxylic acid or salt monomer;(b) between about 0 and about 25 weight percent of a dicarboxylic acid, anhydride or salt monomer; and(c) between about 0.1 and about 5.0 weight percent of an acrylic monomer which contains one or more sulfoalkyl groups, where alkyl represents an alkyl moiety containing between 1 and 6 carbon atoms or salt thereof;the sum of the weight percents of (a), (b) and (c) being 100 percent is provided. The polymer demonstrates excellent soil redeposition properties and is particularly useful as a detergent builder.

    Abstract: Insulated electrical conductor for telecommunications cable in which two layers of insulation are provided. The inner of the two layers is a solid non-cellular construction and the outer layer is cellular. The nominal mutual capacitance between the conductor and an identical conductor is at a desired nominal value of 83 nanofarads/mile value between conductors above a desired minimum value while having an outside diameter across the insulation which is less than for a conductor of the same gauge which provides the same mutual capacitance and has a solid insulation of the same material as the inner layer.

    Abstract: A refrigeration system alarm device includes a temperature monitoring circuit which detects when a temperature within the refrigeration system exceeds a preselectable temperature reference level. The device also includes an alternating current power monitor circuit which detects when any one of a plurality of alternating current power inputs is interrupted. The device also includes a direct current power monitor circuit which includes a battery and a comparator circuit for determining when the voltage of the battery is below a predetermined level. When an excessive temperature is detected or an alternating current power input interruption is detected or the battery voltage is below the predetermined reference level, a visual or audible alarm signal is generated.

    Abstract: A new and distinct variety of landscape shrub rose plant is provided which forms in abundance on a substantially continuous basis attractive single blossoms that are light pink in coloration. The new variety is a spontaneous mutation of unknown causation of the ‘Radrazz’ variety (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 11,836) that forms vivid red single blossoms. The vegetation is vigorous and the growth habit is compact, spreading, and mounding. Attractive ornamental glaucous medium green to bluish-green foliage is formed. Excellent disease resistance to blackspot is exhibited. The new variety is particularly well suited for growing as distinctive ornamentation in the landscape.
