  • Publication number: 20240108222
Abstract: A transmitting element for generating a magnetic field for tracking of an object includes a first spiral trace that extends from a first outer origin inward to a central origin in a first direction. A second spiral trace can extend from the central origin outward to a second outer origin in the first direction. The second spiral trace can extend from the central origin to the second outer origin in the first direction. The first spiral trace and the second spiral trace can be physically connected at the central origin to form the fluorolucent magnetic transmitting element and at least a portion of the first spiral trace overlaps at least a portion of the second spiral trace.

  • Patent number: 7690698
Abstract: An improved system and method for facilitating pipe and conduit coupling comprises a clamp having at least one screw hole for insertion therethrough of at least one screw for insertion for a further clamp for being screwed to fasten the clamps together on ends of pipes to be coupled, at least one gasket between the clamps and pipe and including at least one retainer to engage with the screw to prevent the screw from displacement prior to being screwed into fastening relationship with the gasket and the pipe. An improved method for facilitating pipe coupling comprises providing clamps fastenable together around ends of pipes, a gasket to be placed between the clamps and the pipe ends and providing at least one retainer to engage the screw to prevent it from being displaced through a screw hole prior to fastening the clamps around the pipe ends.

  • Publication number: 20090048654
Abstract: A stent delivery system and a method for delivering a stent are provided. The stent delivery system includes an outer sheath having a proximal portion, a distal portion and a first lumen extending at least partially through the sheath. The system further includes an inner shaft slidably received within the first lumen and extending at least partially through the sheath. A tubular non-expandable stent is slidably positionable within the first lumen, disposed distal to the inner shaft and operably contacts a pushing surface on the inner shaft. The inner shaft and the stent are slidable relative to the outer sheath, the outer sheath providing sufficient rigidity to the stent for delivery of the stent to a delivery site.
