    Abstract: A cover for use with a garbage can that has elastic coupling means for enclosing the open end of the can with flexible hood means connected to the coupling means to form a dome with gripping means connected to the upper end of the dome. Connecting means is provided between the dome and the handle on the can so that the cover may hang from the can when not in use.
