    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that facilitate permitting a user to select one of a plurality of job setups stored in a camera sensor. The plurality of job setups can be pre-programmed into the sensor utilizing conventional methods. During sensor operation, a user can select a particular application, and a simple signal can be generated for transmission over existing input/output lines to the camera sensor, upon receipt of which the camera sensor can initiate the particular job setup associated with the signal. Job setup signals can be formatted in binary utilizing HIGH and LOW voltages or can be transmitted as a simple Morse Code message and/or integer value.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a system and/or method that facilitates inspecting and/or measuring within manufacturing lines by employing an image retention user interface that displays a failed image from a low end vision system. The image retention user interface can display at least one thumbnail associated to a failed image wherein the failed image can be annotated indicating a failure. Furthermore, the image retention user interface can provide adjustments to equipment related to a low end vision system and/or manufacturing lines. The image retention user interface can also utilize editing techniques to edit failed images. Additionally, the image retention user interface transmits the failed images to a remote system and/or location.

    Abstract: An instrument for aligning the spindle of machine tools such as drill presses or vertical milling machines at various angles with respect to a work surface. In one embodiment the upper portion of an elongated shaft is engaged in a chuck or collet of the spindle while the lower potion is operably mounted to shaft bearings, which permits the shaft to pivot, rotate and to move vertically and horizontally with respect to the work surface of the machine tool. A displacement detector for detecting pivotal movement of the shaft is mounted on a member of the shaft bearing in fixed relation to the pivot of the shaft. A linear interface provides contact between the shaft and displacement detector and permits predictable repeatable movement of the displacement detector.

    Abstract: A pedal assembly having a pedal spindle, a pedal body rotatably mounted on the pedal spindle, and a brake assembly. The brake assembly includes a brake arm which includes a brake tab for engaging the pedal spindle. The brake arm is selectively positioned between a first position in which the brake tab engages the pedal spindle to restrict rotation of the pedal body and a second position in which the brake tab is disengaged from the pedal spindle. The brake arm is biased by a spring into the first position. A foot pad may be provided on the brake arm for actuation by the user and a pedal spindle insert may be located over the pedal spindle to engage the brake arm. The pedal spindle, brake tab and spindle insert may include multiple, serrated, ratcheted, pointed, or gripping surfaces to increase frictional engagement.
