Abstract: A vehicle seat and storage system includes a vehicle seat having a seat base and a seat back extending from the seat base. A storage apparatus is connected to the seat back and is movable from a stowed position against the seat back to an extended position away from the seat back. The storage apparatus is configured to position and secure one or more cargo items. A seat motor is operably connected to the seat. The seat motor is configured to move the seat back from a first position extending upward from the seat base to a second position where the seat back is disposed flat against the seat base.

Abstract: A home delivery box is provided with a electromagnetic release mechanism. The delivery box includes a container with an interior that holds an item being delivered to the delivery box by a carrier. The delivery box includes an access door configured to close the container. The delivery box also includes an electromagnetic lock. The electromagnetic lock includes a bar; an electromagnet configured to lock the delivery box when the access door is closed; and a switch configured to deactivate the electromagnet. When the access door is closed and the bar is depressed from an interior, the bar pushes a lip portion into an activation area to activate the switch thereby breaking current to the electromagnetic lock which releases the electromagnetic lock.

The delivery box may include a container comprising an interior configured to hold an item; an access door configured to close the container; a UV LED configured to be activated to disinfect the interior when the access door is closed relative to the container; and a controller that controls the UV LED. The controller is connected to a network and a user is configured to control the controller over the network.
