  • Publication number: 20220065639
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for road segment ranking. Incident data associated with a first road segment is evaluated to determine an incident trend for the first road segment. Factors for the first road segment are identified. A first danger rating is assigned to the first road segment based upon the incident trend and the factors. The first danger rating is displayed on a display of a device.

  • Publication number: 20160005311
Abstract: An encrypted traffic signal device controller (TSDC) and an Electronic Variable Message Sign (EVMS) at intersection roadways and related traffic intersections where the invention system is installed at traffic light intersections which will be triggered at the red light sequence where vehicles/pedestrian/cyclists are stopped. After the traffic light turns red, the time delay of the red light will trigger an audio and visual public announcement which will be of assistance to the driver and enable the driver to pay attention to the announcement without being concerned about diverting the driver's attention from driving the vehicle since the vehicle is stopped at a red light and the driver can devote his attention to reading the information provided.

  • Patent number: 3996673
Abstract: An apparatus for generating computed images on an electronically controlled display surface is provided which uses a function module for generating the deflection voltages necessary to display a shape, the shape being defined in terms of right edge and left edge vectors. The vectors comprise line segments, placed end-to-end until a closed shape is formed. Each line segment is defined by a start point and slope to the next vector start point. The shape is constructed by sweeping the beam of a cathode ray device in an X coordinate direction and comparing the instantaneous X coordinate beam position with the instantaneous position of the left edge and right edge vectors. Upon the determination that the beam has passed beyond the coordinate position of the right edge or left edge vectors defining the image, beam intensity is blanked and the Y coordinate of the beam is incremented.
