  • Patent number: 11851954
Abstract: A riser assembly includes a riser with a first and second riser joint, an auxiliary line, and a first and second flange. The auxiliary line has an auxiliary line joint which connects a first and second auxiliary line section. The auxiliary line joint has a first joint assembly connected to the first auxiliary line section, and a second joint assembly connected to the second auxiliary line section. The first and second joint assembly each have a bearing surface. A bearing surface of the first flange engages the bearing surface of the first joint assembly. A bearing surface of the second flange engages the bearing surface of the second joint assembly. The bearing surface of the first flange or of the first joint assembly also has a rocker formation which contacts the bearing surfaces of the first flange and of the first joint assembly while permitting a relative angular movement therebetween.

  • Patent number: 9769158
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an automated process for enrolling and logging in with a token. In particular, a security client detects when the user has inserted their token. In response, the security client then notifies the enterprise security system and provides information about the token. The enterprise security system performs a profile lookup and authorizes use of the token.

  • Patent number: 8001996
Abstract: A composite pipe having at least one metal end piece (2, 3) with a free end and a non-metal tubular component (10). The tubular component (10) is coupled to the at least one end piece (2, 3) opposite of the free end of the end piece (2, 3), by means of at least one peripherally extending, axially acting groove (6, 7) that the non-metallic tubular component (10) engages. The non-metallic tubular component (10) generally comprises axial fibers (11) extending down into the at least one groove (6, 7). The groove (6, 7) has a bottom (13) and a flank (14), which flank is located furthest away from the free end of the end piece (2, 3). Between the flank (14) and the axial fibers (11) there is provided an intermediate layer (15). Also described is a method of manufacturing such a composite pipe.
