  • Patent number: 12242651
Abstract: The invention includes a UI that allows addition of functional placeholders to an AI pipeline, and a rules engine that chooses pipeline objects during or before AI pipeline execution. The rules engine can select pipeline objects meeting the same function type and object rules of the functional placeholder. The rules engine also applies customizable security rules and artificial intelligence (AI) model routing to queries. Remedial actions are taken when the rule evaluation exceeds a threshold. The remedial actions include transforming the query by replacing sensitive information with a reversible placeholder. The actual result can be modified by reversing the placeholder and redacting additional sensitive information. The system can notify the user, an administrator, and a supervisor regarding the security evaluation and remedial actions. The evaluations can be logged for auditing purposes.

  • Publication number: 20250025899
Abstract: A particle spreader broadly comprising a hopper supported by a wheeled chassis, a rate plate, and a rate control gauge. The hopper presents a hopper discharge opening in fluid communication with a hopper chamber to permit flow of particles therefrom. The rate plate controls particle flow out of the hopper chamber and presents a plate discharge opening. The rate plate is shiftable between a closed position and a first open position in which the plate discharge opening is in at least partial registration with the hopper discharge opening. The rate control gauge is configured to engage the rate plate when the rate plate is in the first open position. The rate plate is biased toward the rate control gauge. The rate control gauge is adjustable to engage the rate plate when the rate plate is in a second open position.

  • Patent number: 12172335
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein are optimized for cutting sealing elements on packages using optical radiation. Packages can pass through a cutting device that applies the optical radiation to damage, vaporize, or cut the sealing element (e.g., tape) on the package. The systems and methods control several aspects of the cutting process to adjust throughput, improve efficiency, and reduce line stoppages. Systems can include an in-feed conveyor that orients packages and rejects packages that are out of specification, which can lead to issues such as jamming or damage to the equipment. Systems can include a variable-speed cut conveyor controlled by a computing system to dynamically adjust the speed of packages based upon historical cut quality, environmental measurement data, and height data related to a vertical dimension of the package.

  • Publication number: 20240315874
Abstract: A multi-spot ophthalmic laser device that produces spatially distributed laser spots with the spatial distribution of the laser spots defined by a spot diameter to space ratio in the range 1:2 to 1:20. The multi-spot ophthalmic laser device comprises: a laser module producing a laser pulse or sequence of laser pulses each having: a pulse duration in the range of 10 ps to 20 ?s; a wavelength in the range 500 nm to 900 nm; and a pulse energy in the range 10 ?J to 10 mJ per pulse; and an optical beam profiling module that modifies an output beam profile of each pulse of the laser module to deliver multiple spatially distributed laser spots of defined size and energy. The multi-spot ophthalmic laser device is used in a method of improving the function of the retina of a human eye by irradiation through the cornea of the eye to the retinal pigmented epithelium by a treatment laser having a beam profile with spatially distributed energy peaks.

  • Publication number: 20240296378
Abstract: Techniques are presented for the detection of whether an EV is using a household or other user location for charging. A machine learning model is trained on a training population of user locations using historical usage data and a label for a some of the user locations, typically a small proportion, indicating that an EV charges there, where the labels can, for example, be provided by a utility or derived from the EVs' telematics. The trained model can then be applied to un-labeled user locations' electricity usage data to detect EV charging, both assigning a label and a confidence value to the label. If telematics are available, for user locations at which EV charging is detected, the EV charging can be disaggregated from other electricity usage of the user location.
