  • Patent number: 11425805
Abstract: According to one aspect, a control circuit for a tubular light emitting diode (TLED) lamp may include an input detection circuit that detects, from an input signal, a type of control desired based on a characteristic of the input signal and generate an output signal, a digital control circuit that controls operation according to a digital lighting protocol, and an analog control circuit that controls operation according to a voltage associated with the input signal. The digital control circuit may be enabled or disabled based on the output signal. The analog control circuit may be enabled or disabled based on the output signal.

Date of Patent: August 23, 2022
    Assignee: ENERGY FOCUS, INC.
Inventors: Laszlo A. Takacs, Attila Tomasovics, Matthew Downie, John McGreevey
  • Patent number: 11388801
Abstract: A buck-boost converter may include a first switch, an inductor, a first diode, a second switch, a second diode, and a capacitor. A cathode end of the first diode may be coupled to a first end of the inductor and a second end of the first switch. An anode end of the second diode may be coupled to a second end of the inductor and a first end of the second switch. A second end of the capacitor may be coupled to a second end of the second switch and an anode end of the first diode. A first end of the capacitor may be coupled to a cathode end of the second diode.

  • Patent number: 11292210
Abstract: A packaging machine including a hot plate assembly adapted to fuse a length of heat-sensitive film wrapped around a package. A controller is adapted to calculate a time period the heating element is energized to fuse the length of heat-sensitive film wrapped around the package based on an initial temperature of the heating element. A hot plate status indicator is adapted to indicate at least to different statuses of operation of the packaging machine.
