  • Publication number: 20250064114
Abstract: A smoking substitute apparatus is disclosed, having: an air inlet; an outlet; and a flow passage formed between the air inlet and the outlet. A vaporization chamber is in communication with the flow passage, the vaporization chamber having an aerosol generator configured to generate an aerosol from an aerosol precursor by heating. The aerosol generator comprises a vaporizer element loaded with aerosol precursor, the vaporizer element being heatable by a heater and presenting a vaporizer element surface to air in the vaporization chamber. The air inlet, flow passage, outlet and the vaporization chamber are configured so that the cooling rate of the vapor is such that the time taken to cool to 50° C. is not less than 16 ms under certain conditions.

  • Patent number: 12108789
Abstract: A smoking substitute apparatus is disclosed, having: an air inlet; an outlet; and a flow passage formed therebetween. A vaporizer element region is defined as a volume extending outwardly from the vaporizer element surface to a distance of 1 mm from the vaporizer element surface. The air inlet, flow passage, outlet and the vaporization chamber are configured so that, when the air flow rate inhaled by the user through the apparatus is 1.3 L min?1, the turbulence intensity in the vaporizer element region is not more than 1%.

  • Publication number: 20180047101
Abstract: Systems and methods of changing electronic trade order properties are provided. A GUI display is provided that displays features regarding placed electronic trade orders. The GUI may include further features for quickly and easily changing features. For example, a first button maybe provided that lists current properties of a selected electronic trade order and is not available for user interaction. A second button may be provided that lists an available change to the current properties of the selected electronic trade order and is available for user interaction. If the second button is activated, one or more electronic cancel and replace orders are executed to create a new order having properties of the selected electronic trade order and at least one changed property that is listed by the second button. The GUI is then updated to reflect the new orders.

  • Patent number: 7618794
Abstract: There is provided a method for controlling environmental allergens in articles including toys, bedding, clothing and the like that tend to collect house dust mite and other allergens. One method involves seeding an article with house dust mites, exposing the article to conditions that promote accelerated growth of house dust mites (10, block 100), washing the article to remove house dust mites (20, block 200), testing the washed article to determine that the level of dust mite remaining in the washed article is below a predetermined level (50, block 200), repeating the washing step a number of times approximating the number of washes the article is expected to undergo during its normal useful lifetime (20, block 200) and finally passing the article through a series of quality control tests (30 and 40 block 300) so that the article may be assured as washable to control its mite and allergen levels without loss of integrity and safety over a plurality of wash cycles.
