  • Patent number: 11271290
Abstract: A ring type wearable terminal is provided with a ring and a communication unit that is housed in the ring. The communication unit is provided with a ring-shaped flexible substrate. The flexible substrate is provided with a bonding portion formed such that the bonding portion can be bonded at a plurality of different positions in a longitudinal direction in accordance with the size of the ring. By changing a bonding position of the bonding portion, the diameter of the flexible substrate formed in a ring shape can match the size of the ring. Thereby, a single flexible substrate can be used for a ring of multiple sizes, and an increase in the manufacturing cost when offering a size range of multiple sizes can thus be prevented.

  • Patent number: 10863802
Abstract: A ring type wearable terminal includes: a first ring that has a recessed portion formed on a side surface thereof; a second ring that is bonded to the first ring and that covers the recessed portion; and a communication unit that is housed in the recessed portion. The recessed portion is filled with an adhesive agent. The adhesive agent filling the recessed portion bonds the first ring and the second ring and also fixes the communication unit to the recessed portion so as to protect the communication unit. This allows the strength of the ring type wearable terminal to be improved.

  • Publication number: 20190005672
Abstract: An image acquisition unit that acquires a photographic image showing a hand on which a card of a known size is placed. A card detection unit detects a size of the card in the photographic image. A finger joint measurement unit measures a size of the joint of the finger for the ring in the photographic image. A finger size estimation unit estimates an actual size of the joint of the finger for the ring from a measured value of the size of the joint of the finger of the ring in the photographic image, based on a ratio between the known size of the card and the size of the card in the photographic image detected. A ring size determination unit determines a size of the ring based on an estimated actual size of the joint of the finger for the ring.
