  • Publication number: 20240136721
Abstract: A multi-antenna structure may include a monopole and a first antenna array connected to the monopole at a first location via a first mounting apparatus and including a first cellular antenna and a first radio unit. The structure may also include a second antenna array connected to the monopole at a second location via a second mounting apparatus, with a second cellular antenna and a second radio unit. The structure may include a first set of fronds arranged about an outer surface of the monopole, forming a first respective angle with the monopole and configured to obscure the first antenna array from view. The structure may include a second set of fronds arranged about the outer surface of the monopole, each of the second set of fronds forming second respective angle with the monopole. The second set of fronds may be configured to obscure the second antenna array from view.

  • Publication number: 20190068792
Abstract: Various implementations include systems and methods for unlocking a door to a building on behalf of a tenant of the building that addresses the shortcomings of legacy telephone entry systems and allows for more efficient and safer management of building entry requests from third parties. In some implementations, the system taps into the legacy telephone entry systems to communicate with third parties seeking entry into the building. In some implementations, the system communicates with third party computing devices (e.g., stationary or mobile devices) to process entry requests. And, in some implementations, the system communicates entry preferences (or parameters) associated with a tenant with a door lock system to allow for entry during certain time windows or under certain conditions.

  • Publication number: 20150134793
Abstract: A common IP layer client device interface within an IP multimedia gateway (IMG) is configured to connect client devices to broadband IP networks such as the Internet based on determined device capabilities. Broadband IP network interfaces within the IMG are configured to enable communication between the IMG and broadband IP networks based on the determined device capabilities. Content provided by various service managers are communicated with the client devices utilizing the common IP layer client device interface and the configured network interfaces. Network capabilities may be determined during the device and network discovery. Protocol translation, media transcoding and/or dynamic device configuration may be performed based on the determined device capabilities, and based on the determined network capabilities. The IMG may adjust system timing and manage power consumptions for service deployment over corresponding client devices.

  • Publication number: 20150002419
Abstract: A system and method for defining a three dimensional (3D) zone which, upon entrance or exit of an element as detected by a depth capture system, raises a digital event. The zone comprises a region of space in an environment the interaction with which occurs by activation of pixels in the zone. The event can be provided to an application to perform programmatic tasks based on the event. Generation of the event may be limited to the entrance or exit of a specific person, body part, or object, or a combination of these. Using the digital event, interaction with real world objects may be tied to digital events.

  • Patent number: 7715393
Abstract: A system and method for processing information transport elements, such as ethernet packets, at interfaces to a forwarder. Modules that implement processing logic are allocated per interface and per direction (i.e., inbound or outbound). At any given interface, a series of modules would be used to process inbound packets; likewise, a set of modules would be used to process outbound packets. For inbound packets, the modules allocated for inbound processing are executed when the packet is received from the interface, before sending the packet on to the forwarder. For packets that are outbound from the forwarder, the modules allocated for outbound processing are applied when the packet is sent by the forwarder, prior to any other processing, e.g., queuing to hardware. To assign modules to different interfaces at a forwarder, a registration process is performed during the system start-up process, or dynamically at runtime.

  • Publication number: 20030024932
Abstract: An insert for a container having a rectangular inner cavity is detachably positioned inside the cavity to form an inscribed wall with rounded inner surface. The insert is a rectangular sheet of flexible resilient material that unrolls inside the cavity due to a spring action of the material to cover the straight corners of the cavity. A reinforcing plate secured to the sheet helps retain the flexible plastic sheet in an upright position inside the cavity.

  • Patent number: 6028665
Abstract: A self-leveling laser plumb apparatus comprising an elongated straight tubular housing having an upper end and a pointed lower end thereof and a laser beam module prealigned and connected in said upper end in conjunction with confirmed precise alignment of a laser beam emitted from the laser beam module with a longitudinal axis of said housing. The pointed lower end of the housing is also in precise alignment with the longitudinal axis of said housing. A generally elongated C-shaped support includes a lower base supportable in a horizontal surface and an upper housing suspension member which is cooperatively structured with an upper portion of the housing to suspend the housing with the laser beam module in place in free-moving pendulum fashion. With the pointed lower end positioned just above the horizontal surface, a laser beam from said laser beam module strikes an overhead surface directly vertically above a mark on the horizontal surface over which said pointed lower end is aligned.
