The system is designed to redirect the straps and/or bands of a facial covering or facemask to prevent impinging on, or causing pain, to the ears of the user of the facial covering as well as preventing the facemask from obstructing the mouth/nose of the user. The system may be used with a dedicated facemask or retrofit onto existing facemasks. The system further allows for the facemask to be loosened without being completely removed.
