    Abstract: A device for use with a continuous track of a tracked vehicle to enhance the traction of the vehicle. The device has an elongate body having a surface and a longitudinal axis. A bracket is arranged to secure the elongate body to the continuous track. A first ground engaging feature and a second ground engaging feature are operatively attached to the elongate body and project beyond the surface of the elongate body. The first ground engaging feature has a plurality of teeth arranged in a line and the second ground engaging feature has a plurality of teeth arranged in a line. The line of the first ground engaging feature extends at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the elongate body and at an angle relative to the line of the second ground engaging feature.

    Abstract: An inflatable stent for use in the repair and maintenance of pipes such as water or gas supply pipes, or for use as a medical device comprises an inflatable portion having an inner and outer membrane. When inflated, the inner and outer membranes are radially spaced apart to define an annular space there between. The inner membrane defines a passage between a first and second end and the outer membrane defines a first diameter (D1) of the stent. The inner and outer membranes are connected by a plurality of connecting members in the annular space. End caps are disposed on the first and second ends of the stent which connect the inner and outer membranes. The inflatable portion further comprises an inflatable pipe or lumen engaging portion that defines a second, larger diameter (D2) of the stent, when inflated.

    Abstract: A securing device for securing a cable to a tow ball, the tow ball having a head and a shank. The securing device has an element with a slot. The slot has a first portion wider than the head of the tow ball, and a second portion narrower than the head of the tow ball and wider than the shank of the tow ball. In one embodiment, the device has a resilient blocking member to block movement of the tow ball from the second portion to the first portion by extending across the slot between the first portion and the second portion and biasing the tow ball towards the second portion. In another embodiment, the device has a coupling member for releasably coupling the cable to the element and the first portion of the slot is adapted to receive the coupling member.

One or more additional layers of heat shrinkable tubular insulation are shrunk fit onto at least a portion of the first layer of insulation that passes through the laminations. These second layers provide mechanically protection to the underlying layers of insulation against breaks occurring in the electrical insulation when the laminations and core studs are assembled into the core structure.

The housing includes first and second base sections, a hood, and a conduit opening extending through a side wall of the housing. The base sections are slidably engageable with each other around the conduit on the roof to form a base assembly. The base assembly has an open top and extends peripherally around an interior region containing a lower portion of the conduit. The hood is engageable with the base assembly to cover at least the open top of the base assembly. The conduit opening is sized to provide a passage for the conduit from within the interior region to an external region outside the housing, and it may extend through a side wall of the base assembly or a side wall of the hood.

The vent cap includes an opening for venting to external atmosphere gases received by the extension pipe from the vent pipe.     Abstract: A method for wet cleaning of the nozzle rings of exhaust-gas turbocharger turbines is based on thermal shock of the contaminants, and includes the steps of injecting water in repeated, relatively small amounts, into the exhaust duct immediately upstream of the nozzle ring. A delay between injections allows the nozzle ring to reheat to operating temperature so that each water injection causes a thermal shock. An apparatus to perform the method includes water injection nozzles installed in the exhaust gas casing and a control system. The method and apparatus provide improved cleaning using less water than in known methods.

    Abstract: A sorting apparatus for sorting material into desired and undesired pieces or portions includes a moving reflective surface such as a rotating cylindrical drum which is interposed between an illuminated background and a viewing system so that the background is indirectly viewed via the reflective surface. Any liquid or other debris from the product spills onto the reflective surface, rather than the background and is then moved away to be cleaned off. Thus, the viewed optical characteristics of the background remain constant and periodic cleaning of the background is not required.
