  • Patent number: 11948707
Abstract: A system for providing cable support may be provided. The system may comprise a conductor core, a filler that may provide integral core support, and armor. The conductor core may comprise at least one conductor. The filler may be applied around at least a portion of the conductor core. The armor may be applied around at least a portion of the filler. The applied armor may be configured to cause the filler to apply a strong enough force on an exterior of the conductor core configured to keep the conductor core from slipping down an interior of the filler due to a gravitational force. In addition, the applied armor may be configured to cause the filler to apply a strong enough force on an interior of the armor configured to keep a combination of the conductor core and the filler from slipping down the interior of the armor due to the gravitational force.

  • Patent number: 11145087
Abstract: A system and method for calibrating a forward-facing camera or sensor of a vehicle is provided. The system includes a calibration tool, the position of which can be adjusted on the vehicle to align a presentation screen of the calibration tool with the vehicle camera. A processor performs a method to determine the size and position of a calibration target to be displayed on the presentation screen, based on a position of the calibration tool relative to the vehicle camera and generates a calibration target image to be digitally transmitted to the presentation screen. The presentation screen displays the calibration target image at an appropriate height, angle, and distance from the camera or sensor being calibrated.

  • Publication number: 20090092436
Abstract: An anti-spill dauber wiper for removable insertion into a threaded upwardly open cylindrical access neck of a glue container having a lid threadably received on the neck and a dauber for glue application secured to a bottom distal end of a dauber stem which depends downwardly from the lid for insertion in the glue contained in the container. The wiper includes a flexible cylindrical sleeve dimensioned to be inserted into an snugly received in sealed engagement with the container cylindrical access neck and the wiper is further provided with a flexible circular disk shaped closure membrane that spans the cylindrical interior of the sleeve. The disk shaped closure membrane is provided with slits therethrough which extend radially from the center of the closure member for thereby providing flexible pie shaped segments for permitting ingress and egress of the dauber to and from the container through the closure membrane with wiper application of the flexible segments.

  • Patent number: 6543731
Abstract: A modular suspension system for supporting conduit between structural members, such as walls studs or ceiling joists, of a building. The system includes a transverse support bracket for securement between the building structural members and further includes an elongate conduit segment of tubing and end mounts received over opposite ends of the conduit segment for securing the conduit segment to respective building structural members. The end mounts are constructed of tubular segments coaxially received over end portions of the conduit segment and these tubular segments have one or more ears protruding therefrom for securing the tubular segments to the building structural members.

  • Patent number: 5330293
Abstract: A floating production and storage facility (FPS) or "floating atoll" comprises a very large tension leg platform (TLP) having a regular or irregular polygonal horizontal cross-section (including a circle) and having a centralized opening (moonpool) therethrough. The floater has wave transparent attributes, stanchions sited interior of the moonpool adapted to receive risers and maintain the risers within a limited horizontal zone with reference to the vessel while allowing vertical freedom of motion with reference to the vessel. It also has risers sited in the stanchions and connected to the bottom of the body of water upon which the TLP floats. The risers have sufficient buoyancy means below but near the surface of the water to tension the risers into vertical position, and can have additional buoyancy means distributed over much of their length. The floater can have large oil storage means, and can be moored by lateral mooring as well as the TLP tendons.

  • Patent number: 4728224
Abstract: Lightweight well riser elements for offshore platforms are formed of an aramid fiber/resin matrix material. The well risers are preferably in tubular form and include metallic end connectors for interconnecting a plurality of tubular members to form a well riser. Alternatively, the well riser may be formed in one piece extending for the entire length from a subsea template to the well deck on a floating platform.
