  • Publication number: 20240082888
Abstract: The invention relates to a liquid-lubricated mechanical seal assembly comprising a mechanical seal (2) having a rotating slide ring (3) and a stationary slide ring (4), wherein a sealing gap (5) is defined between a sliding surface of the rotating slide ring (3) and a sliding surface of the stationary slide ring (4), and an ultrasound arrangement (6) having an ultrasound generator (60) and at least one ultrasound head (61), wherein the ultrasound arrangement (6) is configured to direct ultrasonic waves (62) for cleaning onto components of the mechanical seal assembly (1), in order to remove dirt (7) which adheres to the components of the mechanical seal assembly.

  • Publication number: 20200311681
Abstract: A workflow system includes a workflow database. The workflow database may convert proposals or bids into a workflow process. The workflow process may involve one or more tasks which are performed by resources. The workflow database may have access to systems, or provide a system to interface with resources, contractors, vendors, billing departments, and generate reports of workflow process.

  • Publication number: 20070088798
Abstract: A complex business logic encapsulation system and method are provided. The system can encapsulate complex business logic, for example, for workflow application(s). The system includes a common business logic layer component that encapsulates the business logic of objects in a store. The common business logic layer can employ response objects which encapsulate the business logic of complex objects in the store. The response object provides one or more suitable responses. The client can then identify the appropriate response, populate the response and send it back to the common business logic layer component. Each response object can embed an invariant identifier of the store item to which it corresponds, and, when sent or saved through a web service, causes the store to behave as if it had been processed by system.

  • Publication number: 20060265639
Abstract: The subject invention can track and apply user edits to a source document as a sequence of changes. The changes can be applied in a document or spatial order irrespective of temporal factors. The invention can maintain intervals that represent user operations (e.g., insertions, deletions, zero-net-length changes). As well, the invention can infer a location in the original document that corresponds to a particular operation. In accordance therewith, the invention can arrange temporally sequenced user document modifications into an order consistent with the layout of the document file encoding. This functionality of mapping re-sequenced changes into the original document data representation is one novel feature of the invention. The invention can enable portions of the source document loaded into memory on an as-needed basis whereby changes relevant to the instant portion can be made.

  • Patent number: 5410551
Abstract: To verify proper interconnection of an interconnect network, a transitory test signal is introduced at a first node of a network within a system under test. A search is made of all other system nodes for responsive transitions. A comparison is made between the addresses of nodes where transitions are observed within a predetermined time span and the addresses of nodes where transitions are expected. The predetermined time span is adjusted to detect missing or miswired line-conditioning components.
