Abstract: The present application relates to a battery electric dump truck, comprising a frame, a dump body pivotably mounted on the frame, a cooling circuit, and a power unit comprising a battery unit and a thermal conditioning unit attached to each other. The power unit provides electrical energy to an electrical propulsion motor of the battery electric dump truck. The thermal conditioning unit comprises at least a first part of the cooling circuit, the cooling circuit comprising valves and connectors for closing off and separating the first part of the cooling circuit of the power unit from a second part of the cooling circuit arranged on the battery electric dump truck, the valves and connectors configured such that the power unit can be de-installed from the battery electric dump truck with the first part and/or the second part of the cooling circuit remaining at least partly filled with cooling liquid.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for transporting flat products and for orienting such products for applying printed indicia while the products are transported, comprises a conveyor system which transports flat products in a first direction while holding the products in a first orientation generally orthogonal to the first direction, and, during transport, orients at least a peripheral portion of the product in a direction opposite the first direction, in an orientation and position for applying printed indicia on the peripheral portion of the product. The apparatus and method are particularly applicable for use in applying address information to the upper right corner of newspapers.

Abstract: A system detects the sheet quantity of sheet material such as paper by use of a detection roller which deforms from concentric when sheet material passes between the detection roller and another roller, and using a detector to detect the degree of de-concentricity and provide an output indicating the number of sheets passing through. The system has particular application to insert machines for detecting the number of sheets of insert material being inserted into host material such as newspapers.
