Patent number: 11078115Abstract: Sealants for insulated glass units or solar panels are disclosed. The sealant comprises polyisobutylene and a polymer which is a copolymer obtained from the polymerisation of at least one ethylenically-unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon monomer and at least one monomer containing a maleic anhydride moiety. The copolymer comprises at least one amphiphilic polymer side chain. Processes for producing the sealants for insulated glass units or solar panels are also disclosed. Insulted glass units and solar panels comprising the sealant are also disclosed. Processes for producing the insulated glass units and solar panels comprising the sealant are also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: December 8, 2017Date of Patent: August 3, 2021Assignee: TREMCO ILLBRUCK LIMITEDInventors: John Michael Hudson, Rodney Ralph Brooks, Isabelle Anne Marie Sagnat, David Alan Pears, Magdalena Agnieszka Warunek

Patent number: 9873820Abstract: A two-part sealant composition, wherein this composition comprises a first part and a second part. The first part comprises a polymer selected from a silane-terminated polyurethane or a silane-terminated polyether, wherein this polymer is present in an amount of up to 100% by weight of the first part of the sealant composition. The second part comprises a plasticizer that it is compatible with the polymer and a filler comprising at least 0.5% by weight of residual water, wherein the filler comprises at least one rheological filler, and wherein the filler is present in an amount of 80-20% by weight of the second part of the sealant composition. The first and second parts are separated from one another, and the amount of polymer present in the first part makes up 4-50% by weight of the first and second parts taken together. In use, the first and second pans are mixed to achieve a cured substance having a 48 hour Shore A hardness in the range of 25-70.Type: GrantFiled: May 5, 2014Date of Patent: January 23, 2018Assignee: TREMCO ILLBRUCK INTERNATIONAL GMBHInventors: John Michael Hudson, Mark John Bramwell, Christopher Denis O'Kelly, Rodney Ralph Brooks

Patent number: 5961622Abstract: A data processing system (10) and method is used to recover a CPU from faulty operation. A single timer (38) is used to enable recovery operations. When the timer (38) experiences a first time-out event, a software watchdog interrupt (28) is generated. If the software interrupt (28) is properly handled before another consecutive/subsequent watchdog time out occurs, normal software execution will resume. However, if the software watchdog interrupt is not processed and the watchdog timer (38) experiences a second time-out event while the watchdog time-out interrupt (28) is pending, the timer (38) will generate a bus transfer termination signal (30) and set a status bit (270) within a watchdog status register (44). This assertion of termination signal (30) and the setting of the bit (270) allows the microprocessor to determine that a locked bus state exists.Type: GrantFiled: October 23, 1997Date of Patent: October 5, 1999Assignee: Motorola, Inc.Inventors: John Michael Hudson, Donald L.
