  • Patent number: 11967001
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating a video of a user-defined virtual reality scene are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: obtain a scene definition; obtain camera information for multiple virtual cameras to be used in generating a two-dimensional presentation of the virtual reality scene; execute a simulation of the virtual reality scene from the scene definition for at least a portion of the scene duration; obtain camera timing instructions specifying which of the virtual cameras should be used to generate the two-dimensional presentation of the virtual reality scene as a function of progress through the scene duration; generate the two-dimensional presentation of the virtual reality scene in accordance with the camera timing instructions and the camera information.

  • Patent number: 11960464
Abstract: A materialization configuration request is received via a programmatic interface from a client of a journal-based multi-data-store database. The request indicates a partitioning rule to be used to select, for respective writes indicated in committed transaction entries of a journal, the materialization node at which the writes are to be stored. A control plane component of the database verifies that a set of materialization nodes corresponding to the partitioning rule has been established, and initiates the propagation of writes from the journal to the materialization nodes by respective write appliers.

  • Patent number: 9021292
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed which relate to improving synchronization of clocks between a sender and a receiver communicating via an asynchronous serial interface. In a ring topology, a master device is connected to a plurality of slaves communicating using a bi-frequency encoded bit stream. A host device communicates with the master device using a non-return-to-zero data encoding. Each slave receives data from the master and sends it to the next slave in the ring unaltered unless the master indicates a requirement for a particular data, and transmits placeholder bits with a value of 0 around the ring. A particular slave can “fill-in” the placeholder bits with the information to be sent back to the master by inverting the placeholder bit. Clock synchronization between a receiving device and a transmitting device is improved using a fractional rate multiplier to generate a data sampling clock from a system clock.
