  • Publication number: 20220362611
Abstract: A handheld exercise device is an apparatus that enables the user to exercise the upper body due to the load applied on the user's arms from the centripetal force created by moving the apparatus using one or two hands. To do so, the apparatus may include an O-ring housing, a crossbar, a bearing assembly, and a control system. The O-ring housing is designed to retain the bearing assembly in such a way that the user can move the bearing assembly in a circular motion within the O-ring housing. The crossbar facilitates the handling of the O-ring housing with one or two hands in order for the user to move the bearing assembly in a circular motion within the O-ring housing. The control system helps the user keep track of the movement of the bearing assembly so that the user can measure the exercise progress while handling the apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20190300519
Abstract: The present invention relates to compounds which modulate (e.g., inhibit) the activity of beta-hydrolase (e.g., ASPH), including novel 2-aryl-5-amino-3(2H)-furanone and 2-heteroaryl-5-amino-3(2H)-furanone compounds, pharmaceutical compositions thereof, methods for their synthesis, and methods of using these compounds to modulate the activity of ASPH in an a cell-free sample, a cell-based assay, and in a subject. Other aspects of the invention relate to use of the compounds disclosed herein to ameliorate or treat cell proliferation disorders.

  • Patent number: 8540458
Abstract: A center hole ram can have a barrel, and a piston that is moveable relative to the barrel. The piston can define an axial hole that extends through the piston. A gripping assembly can be attached to the ram. The gripping assembly can be configured to grip a cable and pull the cable through the axial hole in response to multiple actuating strokes of the ram. Also, a bursting head can be attached to a cable. The cable can be pulled through a tunnel (such as an existing pipe) and through a piston of a ram. Pulling the cable can result in the cable pulling the bursting head through the tunnel toward the ram. Also, pulling the cable can include gripping the cable with a gripping assembly attached to the ram, and actuating the ram.
