  • Publication number: 20240048403
Abstract: A method of operating a first domestic appliance associated with a user account and a second domestic appliance associated with the user account may include receiving a parameter signal including a parameter value from the first domestic appliance. The method may also identifying the parameter value as corresponding to a sharable parameter. The method further include recording the parameter value within a sharable field set of a pre-constructed table, after which the parameter value may be shared or analyzed further.

  • Patent number: 11410676
Abstract: A sound sensing module for monitoring the operation of an appliance includes a microphone for monitoring sound generated during operation of the appliance and a controller operably coupled to the microphone. The controller can obtain a sound signal generated during operation of the appliance, analyze the sound signal to identify a sound signature corresponding to an operating event, and implement a responsive action, such as providing a user notification, providing troubleshooting instructions, ordering a replacement part, scheduling a maintenance visit.

  • Publication number: 20220170663
Abstract: An air conditioning appliance may include a unit enclosure, a housing, a heat exchanger, a compressor, and an access door. The unit enclosure a system compartment. The housing may be received within the system compartment. The heat exchanger may be disposed in the housing. The compressor may be in fluid communication with the heat exchanger to circulate a refrigerant through the heat exchanger. The access door may be attached to the unit wall proximal to the opening through the unit enclosure. The access door may extend between a bottom end and a top end. The access door may define a primary louver set and a secondary louver set in fluid parallel to permit airflow through the access door. The primary louver set may be defined proximal to the bottom end. The secondary louver set may be defined proximal to the top end above the primary louver set.

  • Patent number: 9019676
Abstract: A system for protecting an electrical junction having a first pin and a second pin is provided. The system includes a first circuit protection device coupled to the first pin and configured to sense at least a first current and a second circuit protection device coupled to the second pin and configured to sense at least a second current. Each of the first circuit protection device and the second circuit protection device includes a trip mechanism configured to interrupt current flowing through a respective circuit protection device and a trip unit operatively coupled to the trip mechanism. The trip unit is configured to activate the trip mechanism based on a determination that a respective current exceeds a predetermined threshold.
