Abstract: A comprehensive WWW based system for identifying, auditing, and confirming on-going compliance with certain regulatory requirements applicable to a plurality of U.S. industrial, manufacturing, commercial and retail facilities. Requirements applicable to each type of facility are predetermined using state and federal government web sites and, incorporated into electronic “C-Records”. Facility managers complete “facility profiles” to identify specific C-Records applicable to facilities and download and assign C-Records to employees and contractors for completion. C-Records are accessed via the WWW for completion and used to audit past compliance and to periodically confirm on-going compliance thereafter. Managers revise profiles as necessary to reflect changes in operation, and the invention automatically directs responsible employees and contractors to complete additional C-Records, if required.
