  • Patent number: 12175532
Abstract: In a preferred embodiment of the invention, transaction systems create instruments and transaction products using a transaction product computer. The transaction product computer accepts transaction product input as a means to customize a transaction product that can be offered to end users. The platform has a product engine that accepts parameters and builds an application programming interface transaction product that enables user devices to manage and configure aspects of the transaction product and value unit transactions at the product level and on a per-transaction basis.

  • Publication number: 20230355015
Abstract: A beverage cup holding device for preventing spillage of a beverage includes an annular panel, which defines a sleeve having an upper end and a lower end. The upper end is circumferentially larger than the lower end so that the sleeve is tapered. The is configured for insertion of A tapered beverage cup is insertable through the upper end and into the sleeve. The annular panel engages in a press fit relationship with a sidewall of the tapered beverage cup. The sleeve is substantially rigid and thus is substantially nondeformable. The sleeve resists deformation when grasped in a hand of a user, thereby enhancing a hold of the user upon the sleeve and the tapered beverage cup.

  • Patent number: 11763384
Abstract: A preferred embodiment of the invention allows the designation, configuration and rearrangement of multiple value unit wallets that allow an end user to designate which types of value units in conjunction with an algorithmic sequence to create a transaction product account may be implemented on a per-transaction basis such that a utilization product determines how a transaction may be processed on a transaction-by-transaction basis. The utilization product may be controllable via an application programming interface to select alternate sequences whereby prioritization of different types of value units may be designated on a transaction-by-transaction basis.

  • Patent number: 11244395
Abstract: A preferred embodiment of the invention allows the designation and manipulation of multiple value unit wallets that allow an end user to designate which types of value units in a transaction product account may be implemented on a per-transaction basis such that a person may perform a transaction in one value unit and settle it using another. The creation of the transaction product specifically may decrease the fees associated with value unit exchange. In addition, the value unit conversion and utilization product is contemplated to have multiple interfaces where a person may select alternate sequences of value unit withdrawal such that an end user may prioritize the different types of value units that are withdrawn from an account during a transaction.

  • Publication number: 20210401026
Abstract: Improved nut-cracking apparatus enables a user to set the gap and/or taper of opposing cracking plates in real time during machine operating to achieve superior, repeatable results cracking various nuts, including different varieties of pecan. To independently adjust both gap and taper, the lower portion of the rear cracking plate is hinged to adjust taper, and the hinged rear plate is further coupled to a slide plate, enabling the overall gap to be adjusted with a mechanism that causes the slide plate to move toward and away from the gap without changing the angle of the rear plate. The stroke of the reciprocating front plate may also be adjustable. The apparatus may further include visual indicators that convey the settings of the overall gap or gap taper so that multiple machines may be brought on line or adjusted without excessive trial and error.

  • Patent number: 10802953
Abstract: Testing of a software system is initiated in an operating environment. The software system includes a plurality of software programs executing across multiple computing nodes. Thereafter, the operating environment and/or resources available to one or more of the software programs are selectively altered according to a test plan. In addition, functional and/or performance characteristics of one or more parts of the operating environment and/or the software programs under test are also selectively altered according to the test plan. In addition, concurrent with the altering of the operating environment and/or the resources and the altering of functional and/or performance characteristics, behavior and/or performance of the software system are monitored to identify faults.

  • Patent number: 10635328
Abstract: Content is transferred from a first non-volatile storage medium to a second non-volatile storage medium without reproduction. This is accomplished by reading first data stored in the first non-volatile storage medium from the first non-volatile storage medium to volatile memory, erasing the first data from the first non-volatile storage medium, and after erasing the first data from the first non-volatile storage medium, storing corresponding data in a second non-volatile storage medium. And after storing the corresponding data in the second non-volatile storage medium, the first data is erased from the volatile memory. The first data is not concurrently stored in the first non-volatile storage medium and the second non-volatile storage medium.

  • Publication number: 20190232143
Abstract: A golf swing practice mat assembly and method of use for practicing a golf swing with minimal friction between a golf ball and a ground surface includes a mat that has a top side, a bottom side and a perimeter edge that is attached to and extends between the top side and the bottom side. The bottom side of the mat is abuttable against a ground surface. The mat has a plurality of apertures that extend through the top side and the bottom side. A plurality of eyelets is attached to the mat such that each of the eyelets bounds and reinforces one of the apertures. A plurality of securing members is attached to the mat. Each of the securing members secures the mat to the ground surface wherein each of the securing members extends through one of the apertures.

  • Patent number: 10338827
Abstract: Content is lent, or temporarily transferred, without reproduction, by reading first data stored in a first non-volatile storage medium from the first non-volatile storage medium to a first volatile memory, and transmitting corresponding data from the first volatile memory to a second volatile memory. After the reading or transmitting, at least a portion of the first data is erased from the first non-volatile storage medium. The data and corresponding data are also erased from the first volatile memory and second volatile memory and are thus stored in volatile memory for a period of not more than transitory duration. The portion of the first data stored in the first non-volatile storage medium and the corresponding data stored in the second non-volatile storage medium are not concurrently stored. In some embodiments, the first data includes one or more respective keys, each key for decrypting a respective encrypted data chunk.
