  • Publication number: 20180060658
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed including a computerized system, comprising: a computer system having an input unit, a display unit, one or more processors, and one or more non-transitory computer readable medium, the one or more processors executing software to cause the one or more processors to: display on the display unit one or more images, from an image database, depicting a structure; receive a validation from the input unit indicating a validation of a location of the structure depicted in the one or more images; generate unmanned aircraft information including flight path information configured to direct an unmanned aircraft to fly a flight path above the structure and capture sensor data from a camera on the unmanned aircraft while the unmanned aircraft is flying the flight path; receive the sensor data from the unmanned aircraft; and generate a structure report based at least in part on the sensor data.

  • Publication number: 20180053054
Abstract: Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems and methods are disclosed, including displaying a first graphical representation of a structure to be inspected, the first graphical representation comprising one or more images describing an aerial view of the structure; determining a flight path according to which a UAV is to navigate above the structure and obtain sensor data describing an aerial view of the structure from the first graphical representation; receiving sensor data obtained by the UAV including multiple images describing an aerial view depicting a structure rooftop; generating a second graphical representation of the structure, based on the multiple images, comprising composite imagery of the rooftop based on the multiple images; determining an occurrence of damaged areas of the rooftop; and displaying the second graphical representation of the rooftop with damaged areas of the rooftop identified.

  • Publication number: 20170206414
Abstract: An unmanned aircraft structure evaluation system includes a computer system with an input unit, a display unit, one or more processors, and one or more non-transitory computer readable medium. Image display and analysis software causes the one or more processors to generate unmanned aircraft information. The unmanned aircraft information includes flight path information configured to direct an unmanned aircraft to fly a flight path around the structure. The software causes a camera on the unmanned aircraft to capture one or more image of at least one of the sides of the structure while executing the flight path. The system may receive the one or more image and generate a structure report based at least in part on the one or more image.

  • Patent number: 6840030
Abstract: A thatching attachment for a rotary power lawn mower that uses short lengths of nylon trimmer cord as bristles to thatch lawns by mounting the brushes on a blade. The device uses alternatives to bristles and new arrangements of the blades to better groom lawns overall. The new thatching elements work on all types of grasses and perform better than plain nylon bristles. Moreover, these thatching elements last longer and are, therefore, more economical. Finally, my new designs are better at mulching the cuttings, which reduces the amount of waste picked up by the mower. This saves time and cost of bagging and disposal of the waste.

  • Patent number: 5960600
Abstract: A system for attaching carpet to a wall. This system uses a lightweight form body to support a strip of carpet. The form body is curved and the carpet is curled over the form. The form body can have a number of different profiles, depending on the look desired and the material being used. The form body is attached to the floor or the wall using common fasteners. Two special mitered corner pieces are included-one for an inside corner and one for an outside corner. To fit a corner, the length is measured and a straight cut is made across the corner piece. The mitered end that has been removed can be turned to fit against the factory made miter end to complete the corner. To facilitate installation, a special tool is included that is marked in feet. A 45.degree. miter is included in the center of the tool to score the carpet for miters. A second 45.degree. arm is included to make outside cuts as needed.

  • Patent number: 5661962
Abstract: A thatching attachment for lawn mowers that uses a pair of nylon bristle brushes that mount to a power mower. These soft brushes tend to vibrate the turf rather than tear it. Because the bristles are soft, compared to metal tines, there is no possibility that the turf can be torn up, even at high mower speeds or if the mower is stopped in one place for a short time. A second embodiment of the device uses a "U" shaped mounting bar to mount the brushes. This mounting bar allows the regular mower blade to be used as a vacuum to pick up debris and grass pulled out by the thatching process. The regular mower blade pulls the debris up and disposes of it through the discharge chute on the mower where it can be bagged and subsequently discarded.
