  • Patent number: 12657953
Abstract: A computer includes a processor and a memory, the memory stores instructions executable by the processor to project a first specified time-varying illumination pattern to an area outside of an object undergoing authentication, to capture images of the object and a portion of the area outside of the object, and to authenticate a scene that includes the images based on a comparison between the first specified time-varying illumination pattern with a second time-varying illumination pattern extracted from the images.

  • Publication number: 20260140129
Abstract: An automated apparatus can provide pre-analytical processing of samples, racking and forwarding to an adjacent analyzer for analysis. The apparatus may have a controller that implements an auto-learn process to teach robotic handlers the locations within the workspace(s) of the apparatus. A robotic sample handler may include a sensor configured to generate a detection signal when in a near vicinity of a fiducial beacon in the workspace of the apparatus for biological sample preparation, preprocessing and/or diagnostic assay performed by one or more analyzers of the automated apparatus. The controller may control the robotic sample handler to conduct a search pattern so that a location of the fiducial beacon may be detected and thereafter calculated to obtain a more accurate location of the beacon. The calculated positions may then serve as a basis for the controlled movement of samples by the robot to and from locations of the workspace.

  • Patent number: 12423963
Abstract: A computer that includes a processor and a memory, the memory including instructions executable by the processor to input an image to a first neural network to generate a first detected object and input the image to a second neural network to generate a reconstructed image which is input to a third neural network to generate a second detected object. The image can be divided into portions and the portions input to respective fourth neural networks to generate portions of a third detected object. The first detected object, the second detected object, the portions of the third detected object, and context data can be input to a partially observable Markov decision process to generate a high confidence detected object.

  • Publication number: 20250143920
Abstract: A rapid contrast therapy system can provide cold, heat/hot/warm (hereafter referred to as “hot”), and/or rapid contrast therapy, which involves rapidly alternating between cold therapy and hot therapy. The system can circulate cold or hot fluid, such as water, through a hose, into a therapy wrap, and then back to the fluid reservoirs of the system. The system can utilize a vapor compression system or other chiller technology to cool the cold water reservoir, and immersion heaters can be used to heat the hot water reservoir.

  • Patent number: 12206802
Abstract: A system includes a plurality of electronic control units (ECUs) and a shared high security module (sHSM) separate from and connected to the plurality of ECUs over one or more private networks. At least one of the ECUs, over at least one of the plurality of private networks, authenticates a session with the sHSM and requests servicing during the authenticated session. The servicing includes encryption, decryption, or authentication, of a message designated to be handled by the at least one ECU and included in the request for servicing.
