The system including a treatment unit for receiving and treating the wastewater to produce a substantially oil-free treated water and, an evaporator for receiving the treated water from the treatment unit. In an embodiment, the evaporator having an evaporation element for transferring heat to the treated water to evaporate the treated water.

Abstract: A method for removing ballast water to trim a vessel. The method comprises connecting a mobile reservoir in fluid connection with at least one ballast reservoir of the vessel. After connection the ballast may be transferred water from the at least one ballast reservoir to the mobile water removal reservoir. The mobile reservoir may be disconnected from the at least one ballast reservoir. The ballast water in the mobile water removal reservoir may be tested for contaminants. There is also a method of handling vessel ballast water. A first authority may transfer first authority certified water to a ballast of a vessel. A second authority may transfer ballast water from the vessel and verify that the ballast water comprises first authority certified water.

Abstract: A CCD array assembly for use in a scanner, includes a CCD array optically aligned relative to a CCD array nest and affixed thereto to form a replaceable subassembly. The CCD array nest has an outwardly facing statically determinate or exactly constrained interface mounting surface. A carrier plate with the CCD array assembly removably attached thereto is optically aligned and affixed to a barrel frame and lens assembly. The subassembly is removably attachable to the carrier plate allowing replacement of a failed CCD array without additional alignment.
