  • Publication number: 20220290516
Abstract: Methods of monitoring for influx and/or loss events in a wellbore are disclosed. One method comprises: receiving a measurement relating to fluid entering or leaving the wellbore, wherein the measurement is selected from flow out rate and active volume; and comparing the measurement with an expected value for the measurement to provide a deviated measurement value. The method further comprises receiving a pump pressure value of a pump associated with the wellbore; and comparing the pump pressure value with an expected pump pressure value to provide a deviated pump pressure value. It is then established whether an influx event and/or it is established whether a loss event may have occurred based on at least the deviated measurement value and deviated pump pressure value. Systems configured to monitor for influx and/or loss events in a wellbore are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20080067855
Abstract: A vehicle or trailer for transporting a load of, for example, fluent bulk material. The vehicle or trailer comprising a chassis (28) and a container mounted on said chassis (28). Said container comprises a base, a plurality of load retaining walls defining a volume for receipt of said load and a discharge opening. The container is mounted to the chassis by at least one connector (34, 35) that permits reciprocal translational movement of the container relative to the chassis (28) whilst mounted thereon between first and second positions so as to agitate the load and encourage it to flow out of the discharge opening. The at least one connector is arranged to permit translational movement of the container from the first position to the second position more slowly than from the second position to the first position.

  • Publication number: 20050009024
Abstract: This invention relates to polymorphisms in the human CPB2 gene and corresponding novel allelic polypeptides encoded thereby. The invention also relates to methods and materials for analysing allelic variation in the CPB2 gene, and to the use of CPB2 polymorphism in treatment of diseases with CPB2 drugs.

  • Patent number: 4587600
Abstract: A lighting fixture in the form of a support frame having top and bottom walls that are interconnected with end support pieces and that have open sides through which the light is dispersed. A series of three elongated fluorescent lamps are mounted in the support frame supported between end support pieces, a translucent cover in two pieces is disposed about the support frame over the respective open sides. Mirrors are disposed in the support frame including a top mirror on the frame top wall and the bottom mirror on the frame bottom wall. The combination of properly positioned lamps and mirrors provides light output that is uniformly dispersed through the covers. In one embodiment, an exit sign is mounted under the fixture and a slot is provided for directing a light path directly to the side.
