  • Patent number: 11346625
Abstract: A break open rifle and bolt action rifle having a barrel extension with a breech end for receiving a propellant charge, a muzzle end with an extended attachment structure for receiving a complementary attachment structure of a barrel, and a chamber disposed within and through the barrel extension having a first diameter at a first end and a narrowing portion adjacent a second end opposite the first end, the narrowing portion having a second diameter smaller than the first diameter, wherein the first diameter of the chamber is sized to receive the propellant charge therein, and the second diameter of the narrowing portion is sized to prevent the propellant charge from being further inserted past the narrowing portion, and to prevent a projectile from being inserted through the chamber from the barrel muzzle end. A bolt action configuration having dual diameter non-rotating bolt with an extractor and ejector mechanism for removing a propellant charge.

  • Patent number: 11320850
Abstract: A voltage selection circuit for selecting a voltage from a plurality of input voltages comprising a plurality of diodes, each diode having a first terminal coupled to one of the input voltages, and a current sensor configured to sense a current flow through each diode, wherein the selected voltage is dependent on the sensed current flow. In operation, the circuit functions as a comparator to detect the maximum among the input voltages. The comparator decision is used to close one or more of the power switches to ensure that the load is powered from the highest input voltage.

  • Publication number: 20210254914
Abstract: A break open rifle having a barrel assembly with a breech end for receiving a propellant charge—primer cap assembly, a muzzle end, and a carve out, slot, indentation, cavity, or recess, which receives a portion of the propellant charge—primer cap assembly extending beyond the rim of the propellant charge. A ramp section of the recess, adjacent to the first end of the barrel assembly, is included to facilitate receiving the extension of the primer cap in a rotational fashion as the break open rifle is configured from the OPEN position to the CLOSED position. The recess and accompanying ramp section are configured to receive that portion of the primer cap which extends from the flush surface of the propellant charge rim, independent whether the configuration includes a barrel extension or not. The ramp is configured to receive the extended portion of the primer cap as the loaded rifle is placed in the CLOSED position to prepare for firing.
