  • Patent number: 9940903
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for managing, manipulating and presenting data objects within a graphical user interface with variable dimensions, shapes, locations and interactions. The apparatus and methods allow for variable data objects to be both pinned and liquid depending on a larger management and manipulation apparatus. The apparatus consists of databases that store the data objects to be displayed within the user interface and the layout coordinates, variable potential object size, and whether the object can move or not based on the graphical user interface dimensions. The object manipulations include the representation of such objects on the graphical user interface in a defined sequence.

  • Patent number: 6467094
Abstract: A necktie knot support assembly for supporting a pre-tied knotted necktie includes a spring clamp adapted to engage a shirt collar, and a main body member shaped to determine formation of the knot of the necktie. The main body member has a vertical central wall and first and second wings that extend outward from the central wall. The central wall includes a slotted arm that extends across the central wall and that inter-engages and retains the spring clamp. The central wall has a notch positioned so that a shirt button on the shirt collar is disposed within the notch during engagement of the spring clamp to the shirt collar. Another notch is disposed within the forward portion of the central wall to facilitate the connection of the spring clamp and the main body member at a substantial angle.

  • Patent number: 6105833
Abstract: A hanger for a pre-tied knotted necktie assembly includes an upper hook portion, a central body portion coupled to the upper hook portion, and a lower stem portion coupled to the central body portion. The lower stem portion includes an opening therethrough that is adapted to receive and selectively retain the pre-tied knotted necktie assembly's clip. To connect the hanger to a necktie assembly, the necktie assembly's clip is disengaged, the necktie assembly and hanger are aligned at right angles relative to one another, the necktie assembly's clip is slid through the opening in the hanger's lower stem portion, the hanger and necktie assembly are turned relative to one another to place them in alignment, and the necktie assembly's clip is engaged.

  • Patent number: 6021522
Abstract: A necktie knot support assembly that supports a pre-tied knotted necktie which, when worn, advantageously provides a knot that is maintained away from the wearer's neck, so as to aesthetically resemble a non pre-tied necktie. The assembly includes a main body member that is shaped to determine the formation of the knot of the necktie, and a spring clamp that is adapted to inter-engage the main body member. The main body member has a central wall and a post that rearwardly extends outwards from the wall at an acute angle therefrom. The main body member is shaped to integrally include left and right wings that extend outward from the central wall and that preferably have respective top surfaces that extend outwardly in a substantially horizontal plane relative to the central wall. The main body member further preferably includes an integrally connected forwardly projecting nose portion.

  • Patent number: 5505351
Abstract: A hanger for a pre-tied knotted necktie assembly is disclosed in which the assembly includes a necktie, a knot support to form a necktie knot, a clip for removably mounting the necktie assembly onto the neckband of a shirt collar, and a positioning post extending through the necktie knot. The hanger includes an upper hook portion, a central body portion, and a lower stem portion. The stem portion has an opening therethrough adapted to fit over the post of the necktie assembly whereby a retaining nut, when placed over the post with the stem portion positioned between the necktie knot and the nut, will securely maintain the necktie assembly on the hanger. Removal of the necktie assembly from the hanger is achieved by severing the stem portion from the body portion of the hanger.

  • Patent number: 4337539
Abstract: A support and fastening means for producing a pre-tied necktie, using a modified form of body member and spring clamp thereon, in which the spring clamp and body member eliminate costly and expensive labor while producing a superior product. This result is accomplished by molding the body member with a horizontally slotted front arm which slidably receives the spring clamp, the body member and spring clamp further having complementary prong and opening means respectively, so formed as to inter-engage with a snap, and non-removable relationship. The body member further is molded with front positioning means for the spring clamp. In addition, a rear post for elevating or tilting the formed knot forwardly, or more horizontally, is also molded integrally with the body member for improving the appearance of the knot. As a result, it remains only necessary to snap the spring clamp into place without requiring any riveting or the like, while nevertheless producing a more firmly and better operating support assembly.
