Abstract: The disclosure relates to condition monitoring of wind turbine pitch bearings by measuring variations in distance between inner and outer rings of a pitch bearing during an angular rotation. Example embodiments include a method of monitoring a condition of a pitch bearing (100) of a wind turbine, the pitch bearing comprising a first ring (102) attached to a blade of the wind turbine and a second ring (103) attached to a hub of the wind turbine, the method comprising: mounting a displacement sensor (105) to the pitch bearing (100) to measure a distance between the first ring (102) and the second ring (103); rotating the first ring (102) relative to the second ring (103) over an angular range; and recording an angular position (204) of the first ring (102) relative to the second ring (103) and a distance (205a, 205b) measured by the displacement sensor (105) while rotating the first ring (103) relative to the second ring (103) over the angular range.

Abstract: An anti-rotation device is provided for stringing a cable or wire while reducing a twisting moment of the cable or wire as it is strung. The device includes a tow component, having multiple tow sections pivotally connectable end-to-end. A plurality of insulated weighted tail components are suspended so as to hang from the tow component. Each of the insulated tail components include weighted tail sections releasably connectable end-to-end to one another. At least one electrically insulated tail section is provided in each insulated tail component between the tow component and the weighted tail sections. The tail components are constrained to only articulate relative to the tow component in the single plane of bending of the tow component.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and software described herein provide enhancements of managing summaries provided to end users. In one implementation, a summary service identifies data objects that correspond to an event and classifies each of the data objects into classifications of interest. Once classified, data objects are compared between the different classifications to identify information differences, and the information differences are used to generate a summary for an end user of the summary service.

A middle level can capture employment terms and conditions that are associated with the relationship(s), as well as one or many work assignments, such as salary information for each assignment. A bottom level can store the actual details of the work to be performed.
