  • Patent number: 5121107
Abstract: An intravenous supply alarm assembly comprises a bladder adapted to contain an intravenous fluid, a support extending from the bladder and an alarm intimately associated with both the bladder and the support, said alarm operating to provide a signal when the volume of the intravenous fluid in the bladder is less than a pre-defined minimum.

  • Patent number: 4976637
Abstract: A kit for converting a Weedwacker into an outboard engine and a method of using the kit includes the steps of rotating the tubular housing of the Weedwacker through one hundred eighty degrees, replacing the grass cutting device with a propeller, replacing the muffler of the Weedwacker with an elongate exhaust tube, clamping the exhaust tube to the tubular housing, and mounting a swivel support bracket to the tubular housing.

  • Patent number: 4039805
Abstract: Apparatus for calculating the price of a measured length of material comprising a sensor for detecting the movement in either of two directions of a material having a length to be measured and a price per unit length. The unit price of the material is entered into the apparatus and a binary value related thereto is derived. Logic components responsive to the sensor determine the direction of material movement and provide a first signal representative of the distance the material moves in a forward direction and a second signal representative of the distance the material moves in a reverse direction. An output signal representing the total price of the measured length of material is provided in response to the first and second signals and the binary value derived from the unit price. A display responds to the output signal to indicate the total price of the measured length of material.
