  • Patent number: 12584240
Abstract: Systems and apparatus for a reduced mass substrate support are disclosed, according to certain embodiments. A front side pocket is provided for support of a substrate, while a backside pocket is provided that reduces the mass of the substrate support. By providing the backside pocket, the mass of the overall substrate support is reduced, providing faster thermal cycling times for the substrate support and reducing the weight of the substrate support for transport. Lift pin systems, according to disclosed embodiments, are compatible with existing pedestal systems by providing a hollow extension from each lift pin hole that extends from a bottom of the backside pocket to provide support for lift pin insertion and operation.

  • Publication number: 20250384378
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for calculating the environmental impact of a product from sparse input data are described. The system receives input data, such as a textual description or an image, that lacks a complete bill of materials. A generative artificial intelligence model automatically deconstructs the product into a plurality of constituent components and associated lifecycle activities. An environmental impact is determined for each component, and the contributions are aggregated to estimate the total impact for the product. The system may further store and compare calculated impacts with previous estimates in a database to return the value associated with the lowest error.

  • Patent number: 12187306
Abstract: For the operation of a motor vehicle, according to the present disclosure, situation variables are detected using a number of environment sensors, a current driving situation is derived from the number of situation variables using a controller and a number of control inputs used to control the motor vehicle are detected, and a behavior pattern for a specific driver is determined using the controller on the basis of the control inputs, is assigned to the current driving situation, and is stored in a memory unit of the controller. Should it be concluded on the basis of the situation variables that the view is limited, the lack of certainty of the behavior pattern determined for the current driving situation is compared with that of a behavior pattern for the same driver determined for a driving situation with an unrestricted view, and the use of a system to improve the view is recommended to the driver if a lack of certainty on the part of the driver is identified on the basis of the comparison.

  • Patent number: 11261507
Abstract: The aluminum alloy product of an embodiment of the present invention includes a pair of outer regions and an inner region positioned between the outer regions. A first concentration of eutectic forming alloying elements in the inner region is less than a second concentration of eutectic forming alloying elements in each of the outer regions. Further, the aluminum alloy product has a delta r value of 0 to 0.10. The delta r value is calculated as follows: Absolute Value [(r_L+r_LT?2*r_45)/2] and the r_L is an r value in a longitudinal direction of the aluminum alloy product, the r_LT is an r value in a transverse direction of the aluminum alloy product, and the r_45 is an r value in a 45 degree direction of the aluminum alloy product.

  • Patent number: 10383546
Abstract: This disclosure concerns improved capabilities for evaluating whether additional medical tests need to be conducted for a diagnosis of a pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) condition in a patient. The method includes determining that the patient is at rest and measuring a partial pressure of carbon dioxide in a composite gas, comprising: transferring an expiration from the patient's mouth to a carbon dioxide analyzer; measuring end tidal carbon dioxide (EtCO2) from each of a plurality of oral expirations from the patient; and calculating a composite EtCO2 value. The method further includes comparing the composite EtCO2 value to a range of stored carbon dioxide partial pressure values; generating a signal indicating whether additional medical tests need to be conducted in response to the comparing; and providing the generated signal to an indicator, the indicator adapted to respond to the generated signal to provide an output in a human cognizable format.
