  • Publication number: 20220312987
Abstract: Interactive bedding systems for a child and processes of use include a mattress and a foundation supporting the mattress. The interactive bedding system can be dynamically adjusted to the child's individuality and age. The bedding system includes a control unit configured to automatically adjust articulating sections in the foundation, the one or more color-changeable lighting units, the one or more sound speakers, and the vibrating units upon detection of a sleep condition, and automatically detect a presence or an absence of the child on the articulating bedding system at a predetermined range of time and notifying a third party in the absence of the child during the predetermined range of time.

  • Publication number: 20220313514
Abstract: Interactive articulating bedding systems for caring comfort of an individual in need thereof and processes generally include and a mattress and an adjustable foundation supporting the mattress. The interactive articulating bedding system and process generally include sleep diagnostics including a plurality of sensors at different locations within the interactive articulating bedding system configured to measure at least one health condition comprising heart rate, respiration rate, blood pressure, and/or oxygen level and provide output signals indicative of the at least one health condition. The at least one health condition can be provided to a third party so that they may remotely monitor wellness of the individual.

  • Patent number: 7954277
Abstract: A container for growing plants has a base and a side wall extending upwardly from the base, for containing a growing medium. An opening is defined in an inclined portion of the side wall, and a rib positioned on the side wall and facing into the container defines a root-guiding angle between the rib and the side wall, the root-guiding angle leading to the opening. Plant roots growing adjacent to the side wall are therefore guided by the root-guiding angle to the opening to be air pruned.

  • Publication number: 20070234908
Abstract: A multi-baler system includes at least a first baler and a second baler that are dimensioned and functionally configured for crushing and baling different respective materials such as cardboard and plastic. Movable platens forcibly extend and withdraw under the control of a programmable logic controller. Sensors detect the dispositions of doors, gates, and platens. A baler dedicated to baling plastic fully extends its platen to expel air from plastic materials in a baling compartment. Platens forcibly extend for the durations of extension time intervals as measured by the controller. Threshold sensors provide signals by which the controller discerns when a baler is full. A platen is maintained in an extended position as a bale is prepared.
