  • Publication number: 20240004836
Abstract: Files can be located using a durable and universal file identifier. A content URI includes a file protocol URI specifying a path to a file. The file protocol URI includes a query string specifying properties of the file that can be utilized to locate the file, such as an object ID property specifying a GUID for the file and a volume ID property specifying a GUID for a storage volume storing the file. The content URI can be utilized to locate the file using the file protocol URI and its associated query string even if the file has been moved, renamed, or is accessed on a different computing device. Operations can then be performed using the file, such as resuming a previously performed activity that used the file.

  • Publication number: 20230293941
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes, by an electronic device, receiving a digital input indicating a type of movement. Streaming sensor data corresponding to movements of a first user can be accessed from one or more sensors of one or more wearable devices on the first user. Displacement data corresponding to the movements of the first user can be generated based on the streaming sensor data and the indicated type of movement. One or more repetitions represented in one or more corresponding segments of the displacement data can be identified based on the displacement data. The displacement data corresponding to each identified repetition may substantially match a predetermined movement signature associated with the type of movement. One or more performance metrics can be calculated for one or more of the identified repetitions. Instructions can be provided for presenting a user interface including information referencing the performance metrics.

  • Patent number: 11729239
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes accessing real-time content captured by a first user's client device, where the real-time content is captured at a first high quality and is one of a plurality of content frames in a real-time stream of content. The method includes downgrading the quality of the real-time content to a second lower quality for transmission to a second user and transmitting the downgraded content to the second user. The method includes determining, based on a request made by the second user, an area of interest of a subsequent real-time image, where the subsequent real-time image is at the first high quality, modifying the subsequent real-time image to focus on the area of interest, where the modified subsequent real-time image is at the first high quality, and downgrading and transmitting the modified subsequent real-time image for to the second user.

  • Patent number: 10762054
Abstract: Determination logic for a cloud content states framework is described herein. In implementations, a framework is configured to perform operations for management of cloud content files at the computing device on behalf of cloud storage providers. Determination logic for the framework is utilized to make state determinations in dependence upon a defined set of file sync properties. The framework operates to make assessments of the file sync properties and set states for files in accordance with the assessments. In implementations, file sync properties are related to corresponding states through a mapping data structure that maps file sync property values to different states and enables look-ups of states based on property values. The framework utilizes and references the mapping data structure to match file sync properties identified for cloud content files to corresponding states and then set states for the cloud content files accordingly.

  • Patent number: 10344140
Abstract: A crystalline Boehmite product and a method of forming said product is provided in which the crystalline Boehmite exhibits an average particle size (d50) that is less than 7,000 nanometers. This method comprises preparing an aqueous slurry by mixing together water, large aluminum oxide precursors, a highly dispersible Boehmite grade, and optionally, an organic dispersing agent; adjusting the pH of the slurry; heating the slurry for a predetermined duration of time; collecting the slurry to form a wet cake; and drying the wet cake to obtain the crystalline Boehmite product. The crystalline Boehmite product may be mixed with a plastic resin to form a flame retardant plastic mixture, which can be subjected to a conventional plastic processing method to form a flame retardant composite.

  • Patent number: 10055853
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for tracking multi joint subjects in real space having a plurality of cameras. The field of view of each camera overlaps with at least one other camera. The plurality of cameras produce respective sequences of images of corresponding fields of view in the real space. A processing system is coupled to the plurality of cameras. In one embodiment, the processing system comprises image recognition engines receiving sequence of images from the plurality of cameras and generating corresponding arrays of joint data structures. A tracking engine is configured to receive the arrays of joint data structures and generate candidate joints having coordinates in the real space. The processing system includes the logic to identify sets of candidate joints having coordinates in the real space as multi-joint subjects in the real space.

  • Patent number: 9560128
Abstract: The use of logic for routing data. Metadata that is associated with data residing on a first computing system is sent to at least a second computing system. The metadata is structured so that when interpreted by the second system, the second system provides an appearance that the data is local. The first system then receives a communication from the second computing system, demonstrating that a user has interacted with the appearance of data on the second system. Logic may be applied to determine how and when to send the data to the second system. Based on the determination made by applying logic, the data is sent to the second system in a manner that is associated with the identifier for the entire data.
