  • Patent number: 9532095
Abstract: Methods for automatically buffering and displaying video feeds associated with a live event are described. The video feeds displayed on the mobile device may comprise live video feeds or replays associated with the live event. A replay may comprise a playback of one or more buffered video feeds in a particular sequence and at a particular playback rate. The particular sequence may be determined based on the viewing behavior of the end user of the mobile device and/or the viewing behaviors of one or more other end users using other mobile devices at the live event. In some cases, the replay may comprise a shared replay in which a group of end users attending the live event may interact with each other while sharing a common replay.

  • Publication number: 20140317563
Abstract: In one aspect, source fields in the data format of the source data store are transformed and mapped to a format suitable for the target data store. In the user interface of the mapping application, mapping templates using mapping functions can be defined and generated. Mapping template comprises various restriction conditions to determine compatible source fields from among the source fields in the source data store. Mapping functions in the mapping template enable such automation in determining compatible source fields and applying the mapping function to the determined compatible source fields.

  • Patent number: 8788956
Abstract: A computer-implemented system member selector module is described. The member selector module comprises presentation module, a request detector, and a tree view updater. The presentation module presents a tree view representing hierarchically organized data comprising a plurality of member nodes. The request detector detects a request to apply a selection function to one or more member nodes. The tree view updater updates the tree view in response to the request and produces an updated tree view that identifies the one or more member nodes as parameters of the selection function.

  • Publication number: 20130346426
Abstract: An ancestry of a database metadata residing in a computer database is tracked by determining a lineage of all modifications performed on the database metadata. In one aspect, this is achieved by determining one or more attributes associated with the database metadata residing in a system database. Based upon the attributes, a database system table including corresponding tuple of the attributes is generated. Upon detecting a modification in the database metadata, a previous condition and a current condition of the attributes is recorded in the generated database system table. Upon receiving a request to track the ancestry of the database metadata, the database system table is queried to retrieve a lineage of the database metadata by retrieving one or more previous conditions and the current conditions of the attributes associated with the modification.

  • Publication number: 20130268855
Abstract: From a computer generated user interface (UI), a selection of a UI element representing a corresponding business process element is received. The metadata of the selected UI element is retrieved from a database to determine associated business process elements. The associated business process elements are determined by identifying a lineage of an input to the business process element corresponding to the selected UI element, identifying a lineage of an output from the business process element corresponding to the selected UI element, and identifying a lineage of a transformation of data associated with the business process element corresponding to the selected UI element. Based upon the determination of the associated business process elements a visual representation of the dataflow involved in executing the business process is rendering on the computer generated UI.

  • Patent number: 8527552
Abstract: Various embodiments of systems and methods for database consistent sample data extraction are described herein. The technique uses production data as input and outputs sample data in the same relational schema while preserving the integrity of joins of the different tables in the schema. For a given relational schema, the master tables are found. Then a subset is created by placing selection criteria in a query defining how to sample the data for these master tables. Following the joins, the dependent tables are added to the query automatically.

  • Publication number: 20110093487
Abstract: A computer-implemented system to receive an instruction to initialize a data provider associated with an analysis cube and a dataset, and, in response to the instruction, acquire first metadata associated with the analysis cube and generate, based on the first metadata, second metadata of an abstraction layer comprising a plurality of objects. A query comprising a first plurality of objects of the abstraction layer is received, the query is transformed to a query state based on the second metadata of the abstraction layer, and a result set is acquired from the dataset using the query state and the analysis cube.
