  • Patent number: 11973366
Abstract: Describes is a battery booster for jumpstarting a vehicle having an external battery. The battery booster comprising a set of electrical conductors, a power supply configured to supply a starting current to jump start the vehicle via the set of electrical conductors, a boost switch positioned in-line between the power supply and a set of battery clamps on one of the set of electrical conductors; and at least one processor configured to output a control signal to close the boost switch as a function of one or more parameters of the power supply, the external battery, or the vehicle. The set of electrical conductors are configured to couple with the external battery or with an engine that is electrically coupled with the external battery via the set of battery clamps. The set of electrical conductors comprises a positive electrical conductor and a negative electrical conductor.

  • Publication number: 20240102759
Abstract: A system for providing discharge monitoring of a firearm includes a first sensor, a second sensor and an event detection module. The first sensor is disposed on the firearm that senses a first acceleration along a first axis and sends a first input signal. The second sensor is disposed on the firearm that senses a second environmental variable and sends a second input signal. The event detection module receives the first input signal and compares the first acceleration to an acceleration threshold indicative of a shot; receives the second input signal and compares the second input signal to a second threshold indicative of a shot; determines whether a discharge has occurred based on both the first signal satisfying the acceleration threshold and the second input signal satisfying the second threshold; and generates an event detection signal based on the determination.

  • Patent number: 7758285
Abstract: A gooseneck frame is attached to the forward ends of a pair of lift arms which extend forwardly from a vehicle such as a skid steer vehicle with the forward end of the gooseneck frame being secured to the forward end of a silt fence installing machine so that the silt fence installing machine is pulled through the ground in advance of the vehicle. An improved coulter disk includes a cylindrical hub which limits the downward movement of the coulter disc with respect to the ground.

  • Patent number: 5740219
Abstract: A system for testing a digital counter of mn stages, in which the counter is organized into m segments, each of n bits, includes a two input exclusive OR gate connected between each of the m segments. One of the two inputs of each exclusive OR gate is obtained from the carry output of a lower order one of the m segments, and the output of each exclusive OR gate is connected to the carry input of the next higher order one of the m segments. The other inputs to the exclusive OR gates are obtained from a test signal enable input, which is driven high (binary "1") for the test mode of operation. The counter is fully exercised in the test mode in a parallel operation, with full testing of the carry bits from one segment to the next, without any interruption in the clock signal input stream.
