  • Patent number: 12516754
Abstract: A hose assembly including a hose having a first end, a second end, and a substantially hollow interior, and an adjustable sleeve extending over or under at least a portion of the hose, where the adjustable sleeve is varyingly configurable, and where the adjustable sleeve is capable of being adjusted from a first configuration to a second configuration and maintained in the second configuration, where configuration of the adjustable sleeve correspondingly adjusts a configuration of the hose.

  • Publication number: 20230383871
Abstract: A hose which automatically expands longitudinally and automatically expands laterally upon the application of a pressurized liquid is disclosed. The hose can automatically expand longitudinally up to six times its unexpanded or contracted length. Upon release of the pressurized liquid within the hose, the hose will automatically contract to a contracted condition. The hose includes an inner tube made from an elastic material and an outer tube made from a non-elastic material. The inner tube is positioned concentrically within the outer tube in both a contracted condition and an expanded condition. The outer tube is secured to the inner tube only at a first end of the inner and outer tubes and at a second end of the inner and outer tubes. The outer tube moves laterally and longitudinally with respect to the inner tube when the tubes are transitioning between a contracted condition and an expanded condition.

  • Patent number: 10267437
Abstract: A metal-shelled hose assembly includes a metal outer shell lined with a flexible, water-tight inner tubing integrated with a bendable strain-relief section that is configured to allow the metal-shelled hose to be pulled from a straight angle regardless of where it is attached. The bendable strain-relief section is provided at least at the faucet end of the hose, where it effectively changes the angle of the length of the metal hose relative to the faucet when the hose is pulled at an angle to the faucet.

  • Publication number: 20020032603
Abstract: The method for advertising Internet web sites comprises purchasing a block of air time from a media provider such as a television channel or web provider, producing a media segment to be shown during that air time for displaying on the screen of a communication device a combination of two or more of a scrolling list of web site addresses, graphical banners and video clips of a host who talks about a featured service, product or web site. A web site proprietor may select any one or combination of several advertising options. Additional interest in a client's web site is generated by providing a video which is produced and maintained by the advertising service provider and providing a hyperlink at the client's web site for accessing and playing the video.

  • Patent number: RE31684
Abstract: A chart recording instrument having electromechanical servos which move a pen or stylus in the X-direction along a paper chart, and move the chart with respect to the pen in the Y-direction. A novel mechanism provides for ease in loading and unloading charts, and for accurate relocation of the chart, whereby a chart can be removed from the machine and then replaced accurately without disturbing any of the gain or zero control settings. Thus a curve can be recorded, the chart removed, and then put back to record another curve in the same family. These functions are controlled by a three-position lever which lifts and lowers the pen, raises and lowers pinch rollers in the Y-axis chart drive system, controls a pair of chart positioning stops, and switches appropriate positioning voltages to the servos.
