  • Publication number: 20240095740
Abstract: In some implementations, a device may obtain first location data associated with one or more exchanges, where the first location data is associated with a first level of granularity. The device may determine second location data associated with the one or more exchanges based on records associated with the one or more exchanges, where the second location data is associated with a second level of granularity that is higher than the first level of granularity. The device may detect an authentication event associated with an access attempt to the account. The device may provide, based on detecting the authentication event, one or more authentication queries that are based on the second location data. The device may authenticate the access attempt to the account based on one or more responses to the one or more authentication queries.

  • Publication number: 20240070646
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for generating a virtual card number (VCN) associated with a credit card having a primary account number (PAN). The algorithm used matches the last 4 digits of the VCN to the last 4 digits of the PAN. By matching the last 4 digits of the VCN to the PAN, customer confusion is avoided, and VCNs may be more widely deployed, reducing the number of PAN reissuances that occur. The implementation of this feature is possible using the specific technique disclosed herein that uses multiple, rotating bank identification numbers (BIN) to expand the universe of available PANs to scales that can support a working implementation. The approach further describes accepting both a PAN card verification value (CVV) and a VCN CVV to authorize transactions. The approach also allows the synchronizing of expiration dates between a VCN and a PAN to further ease the burden of administering VCNs.

  • Publication number: 20220180344
Abstract: In some implementations, a device may receive an indication to create a child account that is associated with the parent account, wherein the parent account is associated with a first entity and the child account is associated with a second entity, and wherein the child account does not have independent resources for completing electronic exchanges. The device may create the child account based on information associated with the parent account. The device may provide information associated with the child account to a platform that enables the second entity to access and interact with the information associated with the child account, wherein the information associated with the child account includes account details associated with the parent account and one or more transactions completed using resources of the parent account.
