Abstract: An integrated active control system includes gaming devices, a server, and a network connecting the server and gaming devices. The gaming devices include gaming terminals and gaming tables. The integrated active control system aggregates gaming transaction information from the gaming devices and determines, for example, the effectiveness of the gaming establishment's floor configuration. Based on this effectiveness determination, at least one of the gaming devices are instructed to change their configuration. Staffing information may also be considered and reconfigured. The integrated active control system further monitors and configures gaming chips. The gaming chips are programmable, and may store monetary chip value and chip identification information. The programmable gaming chips are monitored for tracking the wagers made with the chips as well as for detecting their location.

Abstract: Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a device comprising a jaw portion, a curved base, and a lifting tail. The jaw portion constructed to engage with a tab of a pull-tab can. When a user engages the jaw portion with the tab of the pull-tab can, the curved base is constructed to cause the pull-tab lift when the curved base is rotated on a surface of the pull-tab can. The lifting tail is constructed to, responsive to the user engaging the tail with the tab of the pull-tab can and rotating the curved base on the surface of the pull-tab can, fully open the pull-tab can.

Abstract: Leisure and amusement slide elements and systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, a waterslide includes a bowl having a curved sidewall, two or more rider entrances for enabling riders to slide into the bowl and to circuit at least a portion of the bowl, and a receptacle for forming a pool of water to receive a rider exiting the bowl. A nozzle is provided for directing a jet of water to bias a rider towards an edge of the pool. Another slide apparatus includes a bowl having upper and lower ends and first and second entrances distinct from one another and spaced apart from the bowl lower end. The first and second entrances are configured to bias all users of the first and second entrances to travel about at least a portion of the bowl in a common direction, whether clockwise or counter-clockwise.

Abstract: Amusement slides having moving sections are disclosed. In one embodiment, an amusement slide includes a first section, a second section, and at least one actuator for moving the first section from a first state to a second state. The first section has a rider passageway therein, and the second section has a rider passageway therein. The second section passageway is in communication with the first section passageway such that a rider may pass from one of the passageways to the other of the passageways. A first slide path is defined while the first section is at the first state, and a second slide path is defined while the first section is at the second state. The second slide path is different from the first slide path.

Abstract: Leisure and amusement slide elements and systems are disclosed. Abstract: A method of uploading documents to a secure electronic document storage system includes receiving a request from a user for an upload of at least one document to a secure electronic document storage system. A routing document is generated including routing information related to the secure electronic document storage system. The routing document is transmitted to the user. The secure electronic document storage system receives a facsimile transmission from the user, wherein the facsimile transmission includes the routing document and at least one other document. The at least one document is routed to the secure electronic document storage system, based on the routing information contained in the routing document.

Abstract: A method for presenting a user with alternative document upload mechanisms includes receiving a user request for upload of a document. The user is presented with a graphical user interface containing a plurality of upload mechanisms. The user selects an upload mechanism which is received by a document management system. The document management system receives an electronic version of the document via the selected upload mechanism. The received document is routed in digitized format to an area of a secure electronic document storage system associated with the user.

Abstract: A computer implemented method of securely accessing an electronic document storage system includes maintaining a secure data management system. A secure data management system receives a secure user login. The secure user login is transferred to an electronic document storage system via a secure transfer system.

Abstract: A method for providing access to electronic documents including presenting to a user a first graphical user interface containing a listing of at least one secure user account and at least one secure electronic document storage system corresponding to the user. A selection is received from the user, wherein the selection represents a request for access to either one of the at least one secure user accounts or the at least one secure electronic document storage systems. When the selection is for access to the secure electronic document storage, an area of storage containing electronically stored documents corresponding to the user is accessed. The user is presented with a second graphical user interface for selection of electronically stored documents. The selected electronically stored document is transmitted to the user.

Abstract: The invention provides a system, method and terminal for managing a connection request for a call originating from a voice communication network through a subscriber terminal for a video signal originating from an independent source is provided. The method comprises: receiving a message at the subscriber terminal relating to the call; generating a GUI session for a video monitor connected to the subscriber terminal to display particulars relating to the call; providing an option to further process the call through the subscriber terminal through the GUI session; if a command is received to further process the call, providing an appropriate message to the voice communication network to process the command; and if a command is received to change an aspect of the video signal, providing an appropriate message to the subscriber terminal to process the command.
