  • Publication number: 20260145455
Abstract: Disclosed is a thermal transfer ribbon for use with a media processing device. The thermal transfer ribbon includes a carrier layer and a transfer layer operatively coupled to the carrier layer. The transfer layer includes an environmental indicator material encapsulated in a plurality of microcapsules. The plurality of microcapsules prevent the environmental indicator material from producing an observable effect in response to exposure to a predetermined environmental condition. The environmental indicator material is released from the plurality of microcapsules in response to the plurality of microcapsules being ruptured. After the environmental indicator material is released and exposed to the predetermined environmental condition, the environmental indicator material produces the observable effect. The observable effect results from a change in the environmental indicator material from an original state to a second state in response to the predetermined environmental condition.

  • Patent number: 12590849
Abstract: A temperature exposure indicator includes a reservoir of meltable material having a melting point at an activation threshold of the temperature exposure indicator. The temperature exposure indicator also includes a light scattering material having voids and an indicia overlayed by the light scattering material such that the indicia is initially obscured by the light scattering material prior to the meltable material being exposed to a temperature above the activation threshold. The reservoir is in fluid communication with the light scattering material, such that the meltable material, when exposed to a temperature at or above the activation threshold, is configured to melt and flow into the voids of the light scattering material thereby causing the light scattering material to transition from an obscuring form to a non-obscuring form so that the indicia is viewable through the light scattering material.

  • Patent number: 12235067
Abstract: A magazine for loading projectiles into a launch assembly by gravity feed. The magazine has a plurality blades radially extending from a central axis and defining a like plurality of compartments in an axially rotatable ring. The ring rests upon a stationary deck plate having a hole for gravity feed of the projectile into the launch assembly below. Projectiles having different fight characteristics are deposited into the compartments at a safe location, supported by the deck plate and the launch assembly with an associated device are transported to a hostile environment. A first projectile is launched by the launch assembly in a longitudinal direction. The launch assembly is retracted, automatically indexing the rotatable ring and dropping the next projectile through the hole and into the launch assembly for subsequent launch.
