  • Patent number: 6386728
Abstract: A decorative light assembly for illuminating Christmas trees and the like having a ring shaped housing containing a DC light source and a motor drive for rotatably driving one of a series of interchangeable disks disposed in the path of the light source and providing variable light patterns through the disk which communicate with fiber optic strands to receive and distribute light received through the disks from the light source.

  • Patent number: 5816928
Abstract: The golf putting practice apparatus of this invention includes a base having a bias clement attached thereto and a flexible connecting element connected between the bias element and an attachment assembly, which may be releasably attached to a putter. The bias element provides tension to the connecting element in order to maintain the portion of the connecting element extending between attachment assembly and the bias element taut, thereby providing a substantially linear alignment reference along which an individual may traverse the putter.

  • Patent number: 5149323
Abstract: The present invention relates to a self destructing syringe which is only capable of being used once and is thereafter rendered useless. The syringe has a plunger and plunger rod which are interconnected by a coupling assembly. This coupling assembly includes a receiver which is hollow and extends outwardly from the plunger and a connector which is in the form of an enlarged head on the end of the plunger rod which is adapted to be inserted into the receiver. In the preferred embodiment, the receiver has longitudinal splits along the side wall which form outwardly biased fingers. The coupling assembly also includes a locking sleeve which is adapted to slide over the receiver to prevent the connector from being released from the receiver when the locking sleeve is in place. The locking sleeve remains in place as the plunger rod is pulled away from the needle to draw fluid into the syringe and moves away from the receiver as the plunger rod is pushed toward the needle to discharge the fluid from the syringe.

  • Patent number: 4591227
Abstract: An electric light set for decorating and illuminating Christmas trees and the like, having a plurality of pairs of electrical connecting wires radiating from a sealed, ring-shaped conductor housing. Each of the pairs of electrical connecting wires connects a plurality of electrical light bulb sockets for receipt of the light bulbs used with the light set. The ring-shaped conductor housing can be easily fitted over the top of a Christmas tree with the pairs of electrical connecting wires radiating downward and outward such that the light bulbs decorate and illuminate the Christmas tree. With an alternate embodiment, the ring-shaped conductor housing can be attached to the surface of a window or other similar object.
