Abstract: Provided is an electronic gambling, gaming, wagering and lottery content playing method and system comprising: a storage medium effective to store gambling, gaming, wagering and lottery content files, including sound content files, image content files, or a combination thereof, in compressed format, an electronic device having telephone capability and service provider connectivity comprising a receiver means which receives said content files delivered on demand in compressed format from a remote server with or without an Internet connection; and a player located on the electronic device which can selectively play said content files, and wherein said content files are interactive in the form of a live casino, bingo or lottery operation.

Abstract: An improved method for delivery and play back of sound and image files is provided as exemplary embodiments. This method may include the use of sound and/or image clips, which can be snippets or full files, as alerts for a variety of electronic devices or for playing on a handheld device, and for use as a promotion to sell items associated with the files. A collection or library of uniquely selected and/or edited clips may also be provided to the consumer in a manner far more conveniently on conventional telephone equipment than previously available. Exemplary embodiments may provide algorithms for the delivery, storage and playback of the sound files, including a delivery software system (500), a parametric optimization and compression algorithm (1600), and an error correction algorithm.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for delivering a multimedia data file, comprising advertising content and/or advertising visuals and/or copy from one or more servers to an electronic device or devices, comprising: compressing said multimedia data file using a compression algorithm; and transmitting the compressed file with or without an Internet connection, either wirelessly or by wireline, to an electronic device effective for receiving and playing back said multimedia file.

Abstract: To eliminate, or at least substantially eliminate, the security concerns of conventional Internet-enabled mobile banking operations, and mobile banking operations in general, the present invention provides perhaps the most secure mobile banking and payment or product/service purchase method extent which avoids security problems of the Internet and provides a rapid transfer of transactional information and other information as desired, inclusive of revenue generating advertisements with the architecture and techniques of the present inventive Internet data protocol (DTP).
