  • Patent number: 6463695
Abstract: A disposable liquid bait station is configured in the form of a syphon with a bulbous end portion and a stem portion having a passage extending from the end of the stem into the bulbous end portion for syphoning liquid bait from a bottle containing the liquid bait. The stem is cut-off and the remaining portion serves as the bait station. The bait station is then placed in a horizontal position at the desired locations for permitting the ingress and egress of the ants intended to being exterminated. The bait station is thrown away once it has served its purpose.

  • Patent number: 5805202
Abstract: A video surveillance system includes a remotely controllable video camera which generates a video signal, a video switch, a cable for transmitting the video signal from the video camera to the video switch, a control circuit connected to the cable for generating control signals to be transmitted to the video camera via the cable, and a control signal receiver associated with the camera and connected to the cable for receiving the control signals transmitted via the cable. The control signal receiver includes a detection circuit for automatically detecting the length of the cable and generating an adjustment signal indicative of the detected length of the cable. The control signal receiver also includes an adjustable circuit element which is adjusted on the basis of the adjustment signal so as to compensate for the detected length of the cable. The automatic cable compensation in the control signal receiver provides reliable detection of the camera control signals.

  • Patent number: 4615300
Abstract: A litter box liner includes a plurality of removable layers stacked one inside of the other and conformable to the shape of the interior surface of a litter box. The liner includes an imperforate bottom layer and a plurality of screening layers positioned above the bottom layer. Each screening layer includes a bottom wall with a plurality of openings therethrough which are large enough to pass granular litter but small enough to block animal excrement. The screening layer also includes an imperforate flap attached beneath the bottom wall by a flexible edge connector, with the flap being large enough to cover all of the openings. The animal excrement may be screened from the litter by pulling upward on the uppermost layer and allowing the litter to pass through the openings as the flap drops down.
