Abstract: A commercial food preparation refrigerator unit, comprising a food storage chamber disposed under a food preparation table and in which a unique baffle controls circulation of refrigerated air whereby to maintain condiments and/or ingredients in the chamber and foodstuffs in separate trays extending from the table into the chamber, at a uniform refrigerated temperature.

Abstract: A food preparation table including a cabinet having a refrigerated base for cooling stored foods, and a refrigerated upper compartment wherein food pans are supported on a pan rail recessed vertically below the top surface of the unit whereby the refrigerator simultaneously maintains a blanket of cool air across the top of the food pan, which is lower than ambient temperature, and the food in the pan is maintained at its desired cooled temperature. An automatic hot gas defrost system prevents ice build-up which would otherwise lower optimum performance of the table.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for modifying a jet engine to be carried externally in an inoperative condition on an aircraft to minimize aerodynamic drag and oscillation of the engine. The apparatus includes an annular inlet extension adapted to be mounted to the operating air inlet which slightly extends and contracts the inlet to reduce air spillage. The disclosed method includes the removal of the fan blades from the fan section of the inlet, attaching an ice deflector dome to the engine core inlet, and attaching the inlet extension to the nacelle air inlet.
