  • Patent number: 10197022
Abstract: A vehicle and an adjustable sound distribution system that includes an engine operable to produce a pulsation and a sound assembly coupled to the engine. The sound assembly is disposed upstream from the engine. The sound assembly is configured to generate sound from the pulsation. The sound assembly includes a housing defining a cavity configured to resonate the sound that exits the sound assembly. The sound assembly also includes a first member movable to change a frequency of the sound that exits the sound assembly.

  • Patent number: 9597968
Abstract: A boot-like shroud or cover that forms a compressive seal around the charging receptacle of an electric vehicle is provided to shield a charging port housing and a charging port hinge pocket. The boot-like shroud or cover may be configured as an integral part of the charging handle or a separate part that easily attaches to the handle for outdoor use. The part may also be suitable for use in conjunction with multiple vehicle types.

  • Patent number: 9062639
Abstract: An air induction system includes a housing defining an inner cavity. The housing has a first wall with a first air inlet, a second wall with a second air inlet, and an air outlet for directing air to the vehicle engine. A panel filter is mounted within the housing and divides the inner cavity so that the first inlet and the second inlet are upstream of the panel filter and the outlet is downstream of the panel filter when air flows through the housing from either of the air inlets to the air outlet and through the panel filter from a first side of the filter to a second side of the filter. The first air inlet, the second air inlet, and the panel filter are positioned so that the first side is lower than the second side when the housing is installed in the vehicle.
