Abstract: Device for supporting and connecting concrete reinforcing elements which has a base adapted to rest on a supporting surface, an upright post extending from the base, and a clip mounted on the post having a pair of orthogonal sockets engagable with two horizontally extending reinforcing elements for connecting the elements together at right angles to each other and holding the elements a predetermined distance above the supporting surface.

Abstract: Tool inserting an electronic component such as a microprocessor or other integrated circuit into and removing the same from a socket on a circuit board or the like. The tool has a reversible presser foot slidably mounted between a pair of side plates and adapted to be driven by a drive screw. The presser foot has a drive surface on one side thereof for engagement with an upper drive surface of the component and a pair of feet on an opposite side thereof for engagement with an upper surface of the circuit board. Hooks at the lower ends of the side plates are selectively engagable with either an under surface of the socket or an under surface of the component.

Abstract: An extensible reinforcing bar assembly for readily permitting a plurality of bars to be extended with respect to each other and establish a desired combined length. The assembly includes a plurality of improved plastic clips for attaching the two bars while permitting them to be movable with respect to each other under applied longitudinal force.

Abstract: A clip for joining crossed reinforcing bars while holding each of the bars independently of the other includes a formed body of resilient plastic material of general U-shape configuration including confronting flange portions carried by an intermediate web portion at one end of the flanges. The interior surfaces of the flanges are formed to include arcuately relieved portions for yieldingly receiving and gripping one bar lying therein in a plane disposed between the planes of each of the flanges. The flanges also include aligned openings formed therethrough for receiving another bar disposed crosswise of the first bar. The flanges include passages leading into the aligned openings to permit the second bar to be lodged in the aligned openings independently of the first bar.
