Abstract: A hot water storage tank having a capacity of approximately a quart to a gallon for a sink, a tub or the like is constructed of an insulated (fiber or vacuum) metal or plastic container including connections to a hot water influent pipe and an effluent pipe to the hot water faucet. This apparatus would eliminate the problem of wasting the cold water from the hot water faucet while waiting for the water to heat up.
